Harbour parking, daytime noise

Not suitable for campers; just keep driving. SUPER for wild campers who know how to use their own facilities!!! We wild campers understand that an overnight stay in the center of town and directly at the harbor cannot be quiet. Thank you to the Hatstad administration for providing us with this possibility!!!✦Translating

Perfect for a few nights, with excellent access to shopping centers, and you can fish in the fjord :) Water and road traffic can be heard, but the seagulls are louder ;)✦Translating

OK parking spot in the middle of Harstad. A bit expensive tough as you pay pr hour from 8AM to 5PM on weekdays and 8AM to 15PM on saturdays. Next to a citycenter where you can find toiletfacilities. There is a some noise as the parking area is next to cruiseships and a busparking area.

It is a central parking area and there is no charge at night. The views are very beautiful; we managed to see the northern lights from there. We give it only 3 stars because, being next to the port, we heard noise all night.✦Translating

Quiet flat surface with dedicated area for campers. We spent a quiet night there. Good central spot with shops & restaurants very close. Hurtigruten docks twice a day close by. Interesting to watch the fountain in the sea.

We had a quiet night (July 3–4, 2024), although anyone sensitive to seagull cries is in the wrong place here ;) The site was full from 5 p.m. Hurtigruten ships arrive in the morning. Leave before 8 a.m. and the site is free. Rubbish can be disposed of. Free toilet and grey-water disposal nearby, perfect.✦Translating

Great place for the night. Those who arrive early get the best view over the fjord. It was very quiet for us. Shops are within walking distance. You can fish directly from the motorhome.✦Translating
