Been here?
An official, practical motorhome parking area near a small town, the Stadtpark and the MacArthur Glen Factory Outlet. It is free, with no electricity or disposal facilities, and the maximum stay is 3 days. The area is suitable for an overnight stop and cycling in the Münsterland parkland, although other cars may sometimes occupy the spaces.

Contrary to what others say here, this is still an official motorhome site with a maximum stay of 3 days. Perfectly fine for an overnight stop while passing through.
Very unpleasant atmosphere. At the beginning of October, we were boxed in by cars belonging to residents of the asylum seekers' center. They stared inside extensively. We could barely drive out and went to a cemetery car park 10 minutes away for the night. (The next morning we returned to the outlet.)
Since we were almost parked in by passenger cars, I complained to the city administration by email. They responded and sent an email explaining that this is no longer an official motorhome site, so cars are allowed to park there. It is naturally confusing, as there is still a sign pointing to the site.
Great spot by the sports field and next to the city park. The city park is large and offers seating, play areas, walking opportunities, and a spacious, free public toilet about a two-minute walk away. Where else can you find such a legal and free place?
Sufficient for one night! You may stay for 3 days, then you should be self-sufficient, as there is no waste disposal or electricity. Free, though!
Nice place for a stopover!
Nice, free site. The outlet is very easy to reach on foot.
Unfortunately, the parking spaces are occupied by visitors and employees of the community center opposite. No chance of parking. The surroundings are not particularly attractive.
Ideal for passing through: free, close to town, level, quiet at night, and even green all around. We also felt safe. We self-sufficient campers do not need anything more. Thanks to the city!
Pleasant overnight stop for passing through. No facilities, just one rubbish bin. Quiet location, completely sufficient for one night.
Since we live locally, here is our review: practical, not pretty, but quiet and free. Football matches may take place behind it at weekends. Lidl, Kik, a bakery, and a shoe shop are about 500 m to the left, within walking distance. A park with a playground is 50 m farther on the right.
Quiet and safe place to spend the night. The outlet is within walking distance (1 km). No facilities, but you can sit outside comfortably. Good free place.
I don't know what people are always complaining about. Free, legal, fairly level, and very quiet. That is becoming increasingly rare. These people probably compare it with a campsite costing €30 per night. The recycling containers are 100 m away. We slept very well. Always those whiners!!!
