Very pleasant and quiet place. Fresh bread rolls and other treats are available four minutes away.
We spent a quiet night here. Be careful when entering. Google really is no help here. Turn immediately after the traffic lights and drive past P10. Good for exploring the town or spending a night for self-contained vehicles.
I stayed at the edge of a sports field. It is a 20-minute walk to the old town. Quiet at night. Thanks to the city.
Very good and quiet if you want to visit the castle and cathedral. A little difficult to find. Do not rely on Google; use satellite view instead. Shaded.
Great for one night. Since I am fully self-contained, it is an excellent overnight option. I managed to get one of the three spaces. Great.
Suitable for looking around the town. Unfortunately, poorly signposted. Still, thanks for providing a free motorhome site.
Good for parking while visiting the town. I would not spend the night here. Access is only via Brühl and Rischmühle. Maps sends you via Ölgrube, but you cannot reach the car park from Ölgrube.
Car park for 3–5 motorhomes in a normal parking area, although 2–3 spaces are permanently occupied. The town, castle and restaurants are within walking distance. Fine for one night; it was quiet.
The place is absolutely recommended for a quiet overnight stay. A short walk around town and dinner at the Taj Mahal rounded off the evening. Beautiful castle and other sights.
Just a car park. Residents of the apartment blocks look down from their balconies into the vehicle; on the other side are trees, with the Saale behind them, out of sight. If you like that sort of thing…
Perfect motorhome site!
Free official site for three motorhomes behind a new apartment block. A fourth vehicle would also fit. No water or waste facilities. The town centre with the castle is an easy 20-minute walk away.
Despite the two long-term parkers, we stood here with two other campers and had enough space. A larger motorhome could also fit. The area is very beautiful and there is access to the Saale. If you park correctly, the door is not visible. Maps only sends you through the town. The access road is just behind the bridge near the parking spaces.
The site is okay, although one local long-term parker and a snack van still occupy the three designated spaces.
Good and quiet site. The cathedral is worth visiting. There is currently a castle festival with a concert, so it is very busy.
