Lakeside parking, daytime only

Beautiful daytime parking area with chemical toilet disposal. No overnight stays. Kiosk and boat rental nearby, a 3-minute walk away. Parking costs €1 for 30 minutes, maximum 3.5 hours.

Always overcrowded except in winter. I have seen very expensive fines hanging on vehicles staying overnight. It used to be a good place, like almost everywhere.

Great place for swimming and staying during the day for €7 per day. Overnight stays are not allowed.

Paradise parking area beside the beautiful Lake Walchensee. We spent the day there for €7. You absolutely must respect the ban on sleeping here, otherwise parking will soon simply be prohibited for camper vans!

Great parking area for swimming. We arrived very early in drizzle. That did not stop us from going into the wonderfully crystal-clear lake. Please take your rubbish with you. Such a beautiful place must be preserved.

A parking area to be used only during the day! You are woken up and asked to leave, otherwise it will be expensive.

This is not about making money; Lake Walchensee is simply specially protected and its shores, including parking areas, are designated as a landscape conservation area. Overnight stays are strictly forbidden there. Period. Anyone who does not comply with the ban will be sent away by the authorities conducting checks and fined. Thank you for your understanding.
