Very welcoming place. The wonderful, warm-hearted hostess Adriana and her cats will greet you with open arms. Safe and quiet. For us, it was a great stopover on the way to Greece. We recommend it.
Very beautiful private camping meadow. We had a wonderfully relaxing evening here. Anyone who needs proper sanitary facilities—there is only a pit toilet in the garden and a small outdoor kitchen for washing dishes—should look elsewhere. Everyone else can highly recommend this place.
Very, very friendly welcome, beautiful place where you feel safe and comfortable. The pit toilet reminds me of my grandparents' days on the farm; I personally have no problem with it. Two cute, curious cats, one of which came up to me by itself. We would gladly return!
Super friendly welcome. I was allowed to use the owners' house for a shower. Very quiet and safe.
We stayed for one night and it was amazing. Adriana is extremely lovely speaks very good English. We even were able to have a hot shower. Would recommend this place to anyone passing by. I could only imagine how busy it would be in summer/ warmer months. We came with a dog and that was no issue.
A peaceful little place with a very kind and wonderfully uncomplicated host. We called shortly beforehand and it was no problem. We stayed for two nights and would gladly come again. The place is Adriana's garden, which she makes available. Everything works on a donation basis. We would gladly come again.
Wonderful place, with great attention to detail, a beautiful large garden that invites you to linger! No glamping, so if you are looking for comfort you need to find somewhere else. Adriana is a charming person, and the cats on the property are extremely cuddly. It was wonderful staying with you ❤️
The approach is exciting, but with the help of the nice family we were able to enjoy their wonderful hospitality with a large motorhome. A beautiful, natural place with everything you need.
realy great here. Adriana was realy quick to answer her email, so i reserved a spot. after 4 hours the place was full. 6 campers. she coocked the soup (forgot the name) and it was marvelous. she served it with fresh baked bread from her neighbour and peppers. the first I ate was doable, the second... wow, what a difference. You can give a free donation and that is great to. well done adriana
What a lovely place, warm, cheerful and colorful, just like Adriana, an extraordinarily kind woman who welcomed us with her heart and arms wide open. She cooked us a fabulous ciorbă! A magnificent little paradise, very relaxing, where we had a very pleasant stay. It was difficult to leave!
We have already returned here three times during our trips through the Balkans. Lovely place and a very kind and friendly hostess. Facilities as described. The vegetable ciorba is truly excellent and worth tasting!
We stayed here for one night while traveling through the Banat region. Because of the heat, we enjoyed the shady garden and the owner's very friendly hospitality. In the evening there was a delicious vegetable soup made by the owner herself with vegetables from her own garden. The night was quiet and pleasant. The entrance is very narrow but manageable.
We stayed here for one night and had a wonderful, peaceful stay with a very friendly host. This place is definitely recommended. I therefore agree with the previous reviews.
An ideal place to rest and disconnect from the world. The owner is charming and makes sure you are as comfortable as possible. You must try the soup she offers for dinner as a welcome: it is delicious. Thank you very much, Adriana.
Fantastic place to rest for one night; you have to call before going so Adriana can open the gate. It was our first night in Romania and we loved it. She made us vegetable soup for dinner! There are cats, a hot-water shower and a dry toilet.
Adriana was so nice and kind person! When I arrived she welcomed me with apple pie and raspberries and even made me dinner with vegetable soup later in the evening. I felt so warmly welcomed. The smalll details in the garden are super cool and I loved the colors everywhere. If I ever come back close to this area, I'll be back at Lotus Camping.
Really beautiful and peaceful. The very kind hostess welcomed us by offering an excellent vegetarian soup (ciorba) with warm local bread, which she brought directly to the camper! Wonderful hospitality.
The hosts are very hospitable, the setting is beautiful, and it is quiet, peaceful and safe. It is definitely worth stopping by and should be seen at least once.
Super nice campsite with an exceptionally friendly host. Perfect for unwinding a little while passing through. Everything you need is available and you feel very comfortable. Be careful, there is a very affectionate cat that likes to go for food scraps :-)
The place is beautiful and atmospherically decorated; you can truly relax there. The hostess is very kind and makes you feel very welcome. You can also enjoy her vegetarian cooking. The facilities are very basic. But you decide what to donate, so you determine the value for money yourself.
We stayed here for one night today and are delighted. Adriana is an extremely helpful woman. The shower and pit toilet are rustic but functional, and the chill-out area more than makes up for it. The night was very quiet. We can recommend this place 100%. Important: the coordinates direct the navigation system to the neighbor; you only need to drive one house farther, following the marking on the garden gate.
Excellent and quiet location. I recommend tasting the food; everything is delicious. The place deserves it.
A rare example of a family-run place in a completely natural environment, without modern disturbances. Adriana speaks Italian and English, is extremely kind, cooks well, and offers basic but spotlessly clean facilities.
my advice ring first, we turned up today no answer at gate, no sign indicating closed. waste of my time... can't comment on anything else... Gates closed
We stayed 1 night and had a peaceful night. It had rained heavily for a few days so Adriana let us stay on her drive. Very friendly family and lovely to share their home. We left a donation of £10 in local currency as this is what we pay in the UK for similar stop. Thank you
Great place and an amazing owner, very kind, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it and we certainly were not here for the last time.
We stayed here for a stopover. The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. A place of silence. Electricity available. Our children even received a portion of pasta with sauce. Very rural and a little away from the highway, but definitely worth recommending.
Thank you, good people!
Donations.. Super spot. The weather was abit wet, so the owner let us stop on the drive outside the house. We stayed new years eve. We were offered food which was vegetarian and delicious with a beautiful dessert! All bought out to us in the van! It was nice not to have to cook! Thankyou for this stop. We would love to come in the summer when the weather is better and enjoy your camping ground...
A sweet and loving place. We spent a quiet night here and were warmly welcomed. The owner speaks very good English and we were allowed to pick sweet grapes from the garden.
The approach, 2.4 m wide and 7 m long, is somewhat challenging, but once you reach the top, a beautiful, slightly sloping garden awaits. Wi-Fi was provided through her own router, and the bathroom in the house can also be used. The pit toilet in the garden is not for everyone. Nevertheless, five stars because they are truly very nice and extremely helpful.
