Route de Lovettaz, 73230, Saint-Jean-d'Arvey
Been here?
Paved car park with some shade, a picnic table, a water fountain, and rubbish containers, offering mountain views and access to several hiking trails. The fountain has low flow and its water is not confirmed potable; its drainage is broken. The access road is narrow for large vehicles, the parking is slightly sloped, and it can fill with cars during the afternoon. Noise may occur near the picnic table, where groups sometimes gather at night.

Used as daytime parking. It gets quite full in the afternoon. There is water, but I have no information on whether it is drinkable. It is a fountain operated from the top, with a fairly low flow. More or less level.Translating
Useful stopover; bins and a fountain are available. Good mobile signal.Translating
Don’t park near the picnic bench; a loud group of people gathers there and makes noise. This happened at midnight on a Sunday.Translating
I confirm that the place is great and the view is magnificent.Translating
Fine for one night, with little traffic. There is another small parking area a little farther on. Four of us slept here, and many more cars were there when we woke up. Starting point for hikes. Fountain with a broken drain, plus a picnic table and containers.Translating
The access road is narrow and not recommended for large vehicles. Otherwise, the parking area is large and slightly sloping. A good spot for hikes in the Bauges massif.Translating
There is water, I confirm!Translating
Nice, quiet place. I recommend it.Translating
Super-quiet spot with a beautiful view of the mountains! Close to the starting points of several hikes, including the Doria waterfalls, upper and lower.Translating
