Beautifully kept site, lovely hosts very welcoming. Would definitely come back. It's along a private track but don't be put off, just drive right to the end and you'll come to a gate. If there's no-one there let yourself in and settle in, someone will come along shortly.
There is nothing to add to the previous positive reviews. One note, however, for more cautious motorhome users: at the beginning, ignore the large no-entry sign and bravely follow the narrow road through all the bends. At the end, it opens onto a wonderfully beautiful spot.
We used this site after travelling on the Dublin to Holyhead ferry. it is 25 mins from Holyhead so ideal for a stopover. The site is very peaceful with a lovely view of the mountains. There are 5 spacious, well maintained pitches although we were alone for the night. The site provides drinking water, chemical waste disposal and a dog waste bin. We will definitely be back.
Clean, tidy and flat CAMpRA aire with water and loo emptying facilities. The hosts were both exceptionally nice and chatty. It was a great stop for us as it was only 23 mins drive from Holyhead ferry port after a long travel day. At £15 it’s a bargain in Anglesey. Will use again when in the area.
Jem was quick to respond to messages and book the place. I recommend staying here.
absolutely gorgeous, secluded place, very quiet. the owners are really nice too
A slice of serenity, great walks across the fields , all the facilities you need grey water , black water , drinking water ? good 5g signal, diffo will be back
Good site, had everything we needed for a self contained stay, liked having a walk so close to the site. Was unsure when going down a private road, but found it at the end. Hosts were very friendly. Thank you
We spent just one night here b4 our ferry. Directions were really good from Jem. A very narrow track but we navigated it easily in our 7m van. A quiet site with level gravel bays. Didn't need to see anyone, all paid for online using Airestop.
