Pitches with a splendid view over the valley. The hosts are welcoming and help us get set up. You must contact them before arrival to reserve a pitch and get route details (the Google location is incorrect). No disposal facilities or garbage bins. €80 for four people for two nights. Bus to Salzburg very close by.
From this beautiful pitch, there is a wonderful view of Salzburg and the mountains. Manuela and Alois welcomed us very warmly, making us feel immediately like friends. Everything was perfect, and we will definitely return.
Tight space and little privacy. We were next to a family with a noisy baby on the one side, and a family with two kids on the other side. We also got a spot with barely any view. Other than that it was nice. A bit expensive, but friendly owners.
We were looking for a place near Salzburg where we could park up our van safely when we cycled along the Alpe Adria cycle route over 7 days. We chose well based on a previous review from a couple who did similar. Such a lovely , helpful couple. The bus stop is near by and takes you into town easily (leaves hourly). Beautiful scenery in a quiet location . Hiking near by plus a fab hill to cycle.5*
It was fantastic! We booked very spontaneously, communication was flawless, and we received a very warm welcome. Alois gave us hiking tips and helped wherever he could, including with our broken awning. The view is overwhelming, and we felt extremely comfortable. We extended our stay immediately and would gladly return—highly recommended!
An excellent welcome from Manuela, who helped us install her huge leveling blocks under our wheels. The view is breathtaking, and the bus takes you easily into town. We spent three nights there and used public transport to visit Salzburg at our own pace. There are also beautiful mountain hikes nearby.
Dont think about it, just text them on WhatsApp and stay there for the night. The view is breathtaking and worth every penny. 25€ for car, 2 adults, 1 dog
The operators, Manuela and Alois, are extremely kind and helpful. We began our Alpe Adria cycling tour from here and were away for ten days. We were able to park our motorhome safely in their yard. The pitch is at the top of the mountain. Anyone who loves peace and a beautiful view of the mountains and Salzburg is in exactly the right place here.
What a beautiful place with a view of Salzburg. You pay for the view: €35 for a camper, two people, water, and electricity. Cycling into the city is manageable; the return journey is a steep climb, so an e-bike is recommended. You can also take the bus to the beautiful city center. The owners are very friendly and easy to contact via WhatsApp. We stayed for three nights with great pleasure.
On our return journey from Croatia to Germany, we spontaneously looked for a place to spend the night and found this camper spot. Only about an hour passed between our inquiry and arrival. Nevertheless, within a few minutes we received a very friendly WhatsApp reply, including detailed and easy-to-understand directions.
A truly wonderful place with a fantastic view over Salzburg. Contact was as described in the other reviews. Very kind and quick to respond. Communication with the lovely owner was completely uncomplicated. We brought our scooter, so we were able to explore Salzburg wonderfully.
You should contact them in advance to receive the correct details if space is available. If nobody can be reached by phone, you can also send an email. The spaces are limited, so without a reservation you cannot simply arrive on your own.
If they cannot be reached by phone, it is best to send a WhatsApp message or email. Unfortunately, we did not know this. However, we received a very friendly call back the next day.
Superb place with a magnificent view and hikes nearby! Manuela and Luis are very kind; I highly recommend it.
Fantastic view over Salzburg and the mountains! The road is absolutely manageable. We have a 7.3-meter-long motorhome. Communication with Manuela also worked well. We would be happy to come back.
A dream! The view over Salzburg, the peace and quiet on the mountain, and the uncomplicated arrangements—everything was perfect! Thank you for that :)
Beautiful view. A must if you are in the region.
Exceptional, peaceful view. The site is sloped, but the owner has huge wooden leveling blocks and everything works out. I recommend this place. Electricity available. Fair price. No possibility for waste disposal and no water either.
A great place with a sensational view! Very kind owners who offer every possible help and give great tips. If you can stay self-sufficient, the place is fantastic. We will gladly come back, thank you for everything!
Dreamlike camper spot with a wonderful view, surrounded by nature. The owners welcomed us warmly and showed us everything.
Use the yellow barn on the left as a landmark when driving uphill. The GPS indicates the site 2 km farther on. The city center is 20 minutes by bus, with a ticket costing €3.50. The bus passes at 10:21, and the last one back up is at 17:00, leaving a short day to visit the historic center.
thanks so much. what a beautiful view. the owners are super helpful and brought us some homemade cake out which was stunning. bus at the end of the drive into saltzburg.really simple 5 star stop off
Very nice place, super-friendly owners, and an incredible view over Salzburg and the surrounding area. Water and electricity are available on request (€3). The owner provides leveling blocks and guides you in—just be brave. We certainly will not have been here for the last time.
Excellent place. Lovely owners. Breathtaking views with magnificent sunsets. Be sure to note the address sent by the owner by email. On the way up, turn left. No tariff surprises. Quiet, with a bus nearby, but there is a wonderful walk through the woods to Salzburg, taking 1 hour 20 minutes. I recommend it.
