Parking at the foot of the Santuario de Oro, with spaces suitable only for short vans. It is quiet, with fields, a pretty view, family walking routes and a climbing area. There are nearby garbage and recycling bins, but no other amenities, and no night traffic because the road is a dead end.

We had a very pleasant night with a lovely view. We were alone. No cars passed at night because it is a dead-end road. A rubbish bin is nearby. No other amenities.
We parked to go climbing on a Sunday morning, although we used the far end of the car spaces because our motorhome is 7.5 m long and we guessed the spaces would fill up—and they did. If that area is full, a little further down there is a bus parking area that may be more suitable for motorhomes. It is worth coming for climbing, hiking, or simply eating a “chorizo diablo” at the monastery bar!
