This is a spacious, flat motorhome parking area behind The Plough Inn, where overnight stays are free. The traditional pub serves local ales and home-cooked food, and guests are expected to buy a drink or meal. The site is consistently described as peaceful, with clean, dry parking and a rural setting among fruit fields. It is convenient before or after the Dover ferry.

Very nice and tasty pub! Perfect before or after the ferry. Very quiet parking area. I would come back anytime.Translating
Beautiful place shortly after or before the ferry in Dover. Very quiet; we ate good British food (sausage and mash with peas), drank a pint of ale, and were allowed to bring the two Border Terriers inside (very welcome). The surrounding area with all the fruit fields (strawberries for Wimbledon) is wonderful.Translating
Very authentic pub, very friendly. They told us we could spend the night without any problem. The food was excellent, and the toffee dessert was one of the best I have tried in a long time.Translating
Stopped over here a year and a half after our previous visit. This time heading to Dover ferries not on way back. Pleased to say everything was still as good as we had remembered it to be. Had meals, drinks and a chat with Bob the parrot followed by a quiet night and 6am departure no problems. Dogs welcome
Excellent place to stop overnight. Pub serve delicious food and allowed us to stay in car park. Polite, friendly and inviting. Would recommend it as a stop, and will be added to our use again list.
An authentic pub, kind owners, good food, beer... a wonderfully pleasant musical evening. A moving experience. A quiet place. Thank you very much.Translating
There is an almost level car park beside the inn. Be sure to ask permission; they probably will not refuse. You can enjoy a fresh pint there at lunch or dinner. There are opportunities for walking and cycling nearby. We would like to thank The Plough Inn for their hospitality. We hope to return.Translating
Excellent pub for eating and sleeping, quiet and level behind the pub. Good location for departing from Dover.Translating
Very warm welcome. Charming inn both inside and out, with a spacious, level and quiet car park behind it. Beautiful surroundings (orchards and countryside). Excellent typical English food.Translating
Lovely pub and fantastic food and staff. DO NOT PARK HERE IF YOU DON'T EAT OR DRINK - RESPECT THE GENEROSITY OF THE OWNERS.
Very peaceful flat parking. staff at the pub were friendly and the food was excellent. great place to stop overnight.
Lovely pub. Great staff, Lovely parking wit. Flat dry clean spaces . Good tv signal. Come and try a pint and some great food and staff, one of the best fir me ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very nice park up in the car park overlooking fields. The landlord & landlady are very welcoming and we had a delicious dinner here. NOT open Monday, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. We phoned ahead first, as we have a 7 meter Moho.
The place looks very nice and peaceful; we only left because the pub was closed. A sign said "closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays except public holidays."Translating

Our family of 4 stopped here in our converted camper van last night after arriving back in Dover from a small trip to France! What a beautiful and peaceful place with amazing customer service! It’s a small place that for a quick over night stop on your travels is perfect! We ate and had a couple of rounds of drinks too, also leaving a tip as the landlady couldn’t have done more for us! Thank you!
We stayed here last night after an evening ferry from France. Very friendly staff who made us feel extremely welcome. Had a lovely meal and drinks before a very peaceful sleep in the back car park. Would have loved to take up their offer of Sunday lunch but was conscious of the M25 before it got too busy. Much more pleasant than Canterbury park and ride and still within easy reach of ferries
Very friendly people. We could stay overnight in a calm and picturesque placeTranslating
Lovely food, Kevin, Carol and all the staff were very welcoming
Very nice parking at an English countryside inn. Local walks. Owners very friendly, delicious food and wine served at very reasonable prices. No pressure to eat or drink but they are running a business and the food is excellent !
Simply fantastic people. When asked whether we could sleep here in the bus, they immediately said yes. They wanted nothing in return. Of course, we enjoyed a few drinks in this beautiful pub. Nice and quiet and secluded, the atmosphere is a dream, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The hour-long drive from Dover was worth it. We would be happy to come back.Translating
