Riverside parking, weekday truck noise

Very good for one night. The road is not bothersome at night. There were around ten motorhomes. Perfect for visiting La Voulte's beautiful Friday market and the village of Beaucastel. No services. Thank you for welcoming us.✦Translating

We had a good, quiet night; several motorhomes were already there. Ideal for one night. Visit the village of Beauchastel, a beautiful characterful village about 15 minutes on foot.✦Translating

The parking bays are mainly suited to vans because they are very short. For motorhomes, it is better to park along the Rhône. It is fairly quiet at weekends, except for the noise from the busy main road. From Monday morning, however, dump trucks frequently pass at high speed just three metres from the motorhomes on their way to the quarry.✦Translating

There are 14 motorhome spaces in the parking lot and quite a few more along the paved road beside the river. I arrived on a Sunday evening and was alone. You can hear the cars on the main road just behind. No services, no rubbish bin. Apart from that, no problems.✦Translating

There are about 10 motorhome spaces beside the Rhône, but you can also park along the river parallel to the sandy road, which is quiet at weekends but very noisy during the week due to passing trucks. Small village 5 minutes on foot. Nice stop for one night. I recommend it.✦Translating

Easy to reach. It feels very safe. The road is fine at night, but starts up again at 6 a.m. Okay for an unplanned stop; otherwise there are much better places.✦Translating

Pleasant setting, no services, but we knew that. Flat, spacious parking lot. The only drawback is traffic on both sides, except at weekends because trucks no longer use one of the lanes.✦Translating

We arrived on Friday evening and had a very good night, with the pleasant surprise the next morning of three river cruise boats passing by and a lovely view of the river and surroundings. I give it only four stars because of the road behind the parking lot, which is very busy during the day but quiet at night. No trucks at weekends.✦Translating

A great free place. We have stayed here twice. Directly by the river with a view of the distant mountains. One star deducted because of the trucks from around 7 a.m.✦Translating

Very quiet at night, magnificent. However, you have to wake up at 7 a.m. because a procession of trucks heading to the quarry passes very close by at high speed.✦Translating

Only cicadas and mosquitoes are our friends. Huge capacity for motorhomes of any size. An extraordinary calm reigns here; only occasional exhaust noises from the distant road disturb us slightly.✦Translating
