42-50 Rue Chevrière, 49080, Bouchemaine
Been here?
Motorhome reception area at 18€ per night (free December–February without services). Impeccable toilets and showers accessed via personal code; code works once per night only, so services must be completed together. Baker visits around 8–9 a.m. Beautiful location on Maine riverside with direct access to 6 km cycling path to Angers. Electric bike rental nearby. Some electrical terminals are distant; water connections need double-fitting to avoid spray.

Superb motorhome area! The facilities are very clean and the baker who comes by in the morning around 9 is excellent! You can rent electric bicycles just a few steps from the area. In short, a wonderful experience; we will return with our children and our furry friend!Translating
A short stop in Angers with my van! I highly recommend it! Inexpensive for the service provided. Absolute peace and quiet, and nothing to complain about regarding the facilities. I would not hesitate to return.Translating
5 and 6 July 2026 Very nice area on the banks of the Maine. Spotless facilities. Personal code for the showers and dishwashing water. Beautiful pedestrian/cycle path (6 km) to Angers via Lac de Maine bird park. The only downside: electrical hookups are sometimes far away, so bring a long extension cable.Translating
Lovely place on the banks of the Maine. Very clean facilities. The women's showerheads need a little maintenance. Thanks to the municipality for this motorhome area, which is well worth a visit.Translating
Hello, very beautiful place, I highly recommend it. The manager is very pleasant and takes great care of her customers. We will return. LionelTranslating
Great place. Very clean showers and toilets with an entry code. Excellent cycle paths directly outside the site. 8 km to Angers, a beautiful city. Very quiet night, and fresh baguettes from an older lady in the morning. At around 8:30 she stands outside the building and honks a few times. Highly recommended.Translating
Well located, long pitches not too tightly packed, near the cycle path, services are fine. However, the mandatory option including two 20-minute showers is pointless! It would be better to lower the price by €2–3.Translating
Very nice area, next to the cycle path and canoe centre. We will return.Translating
Be careful: you need a double connector to refill with water. With a single connector, you will definitely get soaked (feet, shirt, trousers...). Once the system starts, it is impossible to stop it, and 100 litres of water run into nature. What a waste!Translating
Noise at night from the small adjacent parking area, young people, and music. They charge €18 and include two 10-minute showers even though you have everything you need in your motorhome. Beware: the water code works only once per night, so you have to use all the services together. Not cool, too expensive.Translating
Very nice area with a walking trail, €18 including waste disposal, water, and toilet/shower. Excellent restaurant nearby and the village is close, with a view of the Loire. What more could you ask for?Translating
€3.40 for water with a very strong flow. You must first go to the main terminal, which provides a code for the water. Very clean facilities nearby.Translating
Well-located motorhome area along the Maine, not far from the centre, with beautiful walks on foot or by bike. The pitches are spacious and the heated sanitary facilities are very well maintained. Thank you to the municipality of Bouchemaine.Translating
Thank you to the municipality of Bouchemaine for this lovely pitch. Very clean and pleasant facilities with hot water. Beautiful view over the Maine, with lovely walks on foot or by bike. The bus stops at the entrance for visiting Angers. We recommend it.Translating
€18!! With departure before 4:59 p.m., that is not 24 hours. They impose the shower on us even though we have our own sanitary facilities—and plenty of water too. Not needed for a weekend. Review the price and let people choose the services; this is not a campsite. You have to adapt to the current situation... Motorhomes are self-sufficient.Translating
The pitch costs €18 for two people, including two 10-minute showers; excessive price. Nearby road is noisy and trains pass repeatedly, sounding their horns. On the banks of the Maine and close to a pond for walks. Shops are reasonably close on foot.Translating
On the banks of the Maine, with fairly large and relatively flat pitches. Electricity, disposal points, and hot water for dishwashing. Ten minutes of very hot shower per person per day. Easy access. We recommend it.Translating
Just spent two lovely days here. Pitches on a slight slope so levelling blocks required. Facilities clean and brilliant. Would definitely come back if I’m in this area again.
Area with hard-surface and grassy pitches and a beautiful view of the Maine. Disposal services and water. Showers limited in number and duration per person. Everything works with a code given at the entrance. Clean, heated facilities.Translating
Very nice area. Accessible by motorhome and good value for money. Unfortunately, in March/April the showers are blocked and unavailable, especially the one with disabled access. I hope they operate during the rest of the year, as there is a lovely path along the Maine.Translating
Closed, and it did not say for how long. Otherwise it looked nice.Translating
Very beautiful surroundings.
Annual closure until March 1, 2026.
Hello, thank you to the municipality of Bouchemaine for this magnificent motorhome area. Perfect, and at least the people who expect everything for free cannot come and use it without paying. Wonderful walks and a bus to Angers. We will return. Thank you very much.
Very beautiful view. Lovely walk along the Maine. Shaded and spacious pitches. A slight downside is the road noise—not too loud, but audible. Remember to bring a male-to-male connector for filling with water.
There is a bus stop right in front of the site, from which you can conveniently travel to the centre of Angers.
The location right on the river and minutes from the shops is fantastic. Unfortunately, the showers are currently out of service indefinitely, although a discount is given for this. The only way to get some water—refill a bottle—without codes is to use the tap in the room where washing up would be done.
Great place, beautiful view, and lovely for walking the dogs along the river. Using the code to get water takes some figuring out, but it is manageable. At 9:00 a super-friendly woman arrived in her little car selling fresh bread. Delicious way to start the day!
Superb area, with large tarmac pitches and grass between each one; you are not packed in like at some areas. A sanitary block with showers, sinks, etc., and a magnificent view over the Maine.
As already mentioned, a great place. I would add that it is a good starting point for cycling trips along the Maine and Loire. Angers and Île de Berhuard are each about 8 km away.
Good area in a privileged setting, with all services including toilets, hot showers, and electricity. Bus at the entrance and a cycle route to Angers. Perfect.
Wonderful place with everything you need to feel comfortable! Happy to return anytime.
I approve of this motorhome and van area. For €17 with all services included, it is fantastic. Two 10-minute hot showers. Town hall Wi-Fi. Finally, an area equipped to charge large batteries like my EcoFlow Delta 2 Max without tripping the meter. I fully approve of my €17.
Superb motorhome area, very clean facilities, and excellent pitches. Very good value for money. The setting is very pleasant, with good walks on foot or by bike. Bakery nearby with good cakes. Small supermarket right next door. In short, it is exactly what we are looking for.
Super motorhome area, less than €20 per night with everything included—shower, toilet, sink. Honestly, the area is rated one star but deserves at least two.
