Been here?
This is a free daytime parking area beside the Stour River, with a picnic area and access to water sports. There are no facilities, and earlier reports mentioned road noise and paddle board activity.

No overnight stays here anymore. A shame, as it was ideal for paddleboarding early in the morning.Translating
NO camping or over NIGHT allowed but doesn't give a time restriction to leave ? Places like this that have been used for camping for decades......suddenly campervans are segregated and punished to be phased out. Why not charge an overnight fee and just put a rubbish bin there?
You are no longer allowed to park overnight here anymore. Site is currently closed due to construction work and signs have now gone up Saying No Campervans Motorhomes or Camping allowed. Such a shame as this was a lovely little place to park for a night.
There is some noise, but it is not really bothersome. Otherwise, a very neat spot next to a picnic area.Translating
Beautiful gravel area at the end of a dead-end road, next to a picnic area on the riverbank. Very quiet from around 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; otherwise, lots of traffic noise from the nearby road. It did not bother me. I spent the night in the camper and watched the friendly people launching their paddleboards into the river in the evening and from 8 a.m. in the morning.Translating
Beautiful spot. As of 1 November there is no construction. You can access the river for water sports but not swimming. Noisy road but okay overnight. No facilities.Translating
Currently closed and construction is ongoing.Translating
Plenty of space for several vans. We got in without problems in a 7-metre van. Pizza place across the A137 and a pub next to it. A footpath follows the river for a while by the pub. You can hear the nearby road, and many paddleboarders use this car park, but arrive later in the day and there are no issues. The entire car park has a new stone surface and drains much better. There is now a bin by the gate.Translating
Clean and tidy. The site is level and fits about eight parking spaces on gravel; open fires and barbecues are not allowed. A few picnic benches and a lush grass field enhance the location, but it lacks further comfort. No water, electricity, toilets or waste bins. The downside we experienced was the road activity next to it during the evening and night. That is a dealbreaker with a rooftop tent.Translating
Beautiful place with picnic benches. A spot used by many canoeists and stand-up paddleboarders. Peaceful overnight stay, although you can hear the traffic from the adjacent road very early in the morning.Translating
Great place to stop, no problems. A bit of road noise and paddleboarders in the morning, but a great spot.Translating
Safe and comfortable space. Perfect for one night while passing through, even though you can hear the road.Translating
