This is a riverside parking area beside the Treene, with attractive views and beautiful surroundings, suitable for one night in transit. The road is close, and traffic noise can be clearly heard, although nights may otherwise be quiet. The Fährhaus restaurant is closed due to business cessation. Shops and bakers are a few minutes away on foot, and a public toilet is available at the museum.

Great place with a beautiful view, but it is very close to the road, so unfortunately the cars can clearly be heard. We tried it during the week.
A really lovely place to spend the night. Right by the water and wonderfully quiet at night.
Nice car park by the river. We spent a quiet night here. A sign at the Fährhaus restaurant says, “Closed since July 31, 2024 due to business closure.” Apart from one or two anglers, nothing was happening. Very little traffic on the road, as it was the weekend. There is a public toilet at the museum if needed. Meadow and picnic tables are on the other side of the road. Swimming pool in the town.
Good place for one night while passing through. Fairly level. The road is not bothersome at all.
Well-maintained car park directly on the Treene. Commuter traffic starts in the morning, so it is not suitable for late sleepers who want peace and quiet. But excellent for one night while passing through. The Fährhaus hotel and restaurant is right next door.
