Quiet river parking, paid overnight

Beautifully located site at the end of a fjord. Gravel area without tables or benches. Lots of greenery in the surroundings. The water has a current. There are three or four boat berths next door. Scattered houses nearby. The road is lightly used during the day, quieter in the evening, and empty at night. Access to the village is via a single-lane road along the cliff on both sides of the village.

In terms of nature, this is a very beautiful place directly by the river. However, it is more suitable for spending the night than for staying in the evening, even though 24 hours can be booked. You are surrounded by houses on all sides. When we were there, wood was still being worked on in the evening; it was stored by the landing stage. The road is not bothersome, but several people walk here in the evening.

Beautiful place, very level and easy to reach. A second camper arrived, with no space problems at all. A third could also fit. Easter egg: if you cross the bridge, there is a short walking trail (250 m) and information about the historical story of the village. One point deducted because you are in the middle of the village, but there are only a few cute houses and the residents seem friendly.

The place is beautiful and really has enough space for two campers. Unfortunately, two more arrived in the evening and at night, making the place completely overcrowded and taking away its charm! Shame how inconsiderate many people are. It also seemed that some people did not pay the site fee. I am slowly beginning to understand the Norwegians.

Very nice place, everything as described by previous visitors. A little small for three motorhomes, otherwise perfect!

As already described, a beautiful place for 100 NOK—but definitely not space for three campers! We spoke with the local fisherman: strictly speaking, it is “only” a parking area for boat owners, and the boat ramp must logically always remain free for locals. So please use it respectfully!

Beautiful place. Quiet at night, but in the morning a car passes every few minutes. In sunshine, the view must be breathtaking.
