1125 Bois d'Angers, 49610, Les Garennes sur Loire
Been here?
A small, quiet car park at the foot of the Loire, beside a beach where swimming is prohibited. The place is flat and currently clean, with access to the water and hiking, but mosquitoes are present and there are no services or bins. A steep speed bump makes access difficult for motorhomes, although vans can pass with care.

A really peaceful spot by the water... Beware of mosquitoes.Translating
Really nice spot! There were people at the surrounding spots, while this one was empty. I had no problems with the speed bump at the entrance.Translating
What a beautiful, peaceful place in the middle of nature. The pitch is currently flat and clean, so let’s keep it that way. The speed bump to get there is substantial but easy to cross by van.Translating
The huge speed bump is no joke. We had seen that it was difficult for motorhomes and thought it would be fine with a Renault Master. In the end, we scraped badly on arrival, and getting over it at an angle to leave worked only approximately. The spot itself is really nice, with around ten people during the day and nobody at night. Swimming is forbidden because of quicksand and the current.Translating
A wonderfully beautiful place. Very quiet and close to the water. In July, we had frog concerts, but they died down towards evening. Be careful when driving in, as there is a very steep speed bump.Translating
Yes, very close to the water, and yes, there is a big speed bump to access it. It was possible with my Jumpy, but only just.Translating
Cute, but you have to cross a large concrete speed bump to get to the other side. Therefore accessible only to raised vehicles. Impossible to cross with a motorhome.Translating
Impassable for a motorhome.Translating
Quiet night, space for several vehicles!Translating
