Good parking area with a great view. The prices are very unclear, and the information on the signs contradicts what the staff say. We paid €19.20 for two people and a van. Electricity and showers cost extra.
Good parking area; friendly staff and a lovely outdoor swimming pool in or beside the Pulvermaar.
Pleasant stay, but the pricing information should be clearer. Park4Night lists €16, but check-out is by 1 p.m. (€5 extra after that), and there's also a tourist tax, so the total is never just €16. We paid almost €25 for a van and two people for less than 24 hours. Updating the listing would help guests avoid surprises.
A wonderful view from the parking area and a cozy adjacent campsite.
Very quiet location with a top view. €15 for the first night, €13 for each additional night, for two people. Electricity €0.50 per kWh.
Nice location near the Pulvermaar. €16 for two people and one dog. You can order bread and desserts for the next day. There is also a washing machine and dryer available for €4. Services cost extra; water is about €1 for 30 liters. Attention: cash payment only, hence my four stars.
A bit tricky to find reception. The staff live in their own world. When we tried to pay, the head waiter disliked our position in front of the counter and accused us of wanting to rob the till, ordering us to move to another spot in front of the completely obstructed counter. We left and got a parking space directly by the lake below.
Very nice place with a beautiful view. You can use the campsite’s showers and toilets. Staff and owners are extremely friendly. Excellent location. I would gladly return. Great price.
The view is truly wonderful, which is why it gets the points. The water and waste facilities are acceptable. The organization for the parking area is poor: we arrived on a Sunday, and the reception at the associated campsite, 400 m away, was unstaffed, so we had to return the next morning. The waste containers at the campsite were locked. €15 for a motorhome and two people is not right. We will not return.
We paid €14 for one campervan and three people. The toilet and shower are honestly quite far away, but for the price it is more than enough: only €14, with a great view and peaceful surroundings. The shower is €2 for 7 minutes, which is also pretty good, and there are great places nearby for walks.
We were delighted. We stood in the front row and enjoyed the wonderful view. The welcome was very warm and uncomplicated. The showers are exceptionally clean and well maintained. We were able to dispose of our rubbish without any problems. Beautiful walk around the lake. Road noise did not bother us. We will definitely return.
Fantastic views, easy-to-use motorhome facilities and a lovely walk around the lake. Definitely recommended as a stopover with dogs!
A quiet place with a beautiful panoramic view and a relatively short walk down to the Pulvermaar. Registration is at the campsite, about 200 m away. Given the current weather conditions (snow and -2°C), it was definitely too far to walk for a shower, even though the sanitary facilities were warm and very clean. The price of €14 for two people and a dog was fine. We will certainly return sometime!
We deliberately chose this place because we were told that there would be no New Year’s Eve fireworks here. Unfortunately, reality was different. Anyone looking for a truly quiet place for New Year’s Eve, for example with a dog, should not rely on those statements. Very disappointing, because the place is otherwise nice, but the promise of peace and quiet was not kept.
Beautiful, quiet parking area. You can take wonderful walks around the maar with your dogs! Dogs also cost €1 per day. Please actually go to reception, register and PAY! It seems some people unfortunately leave without paying. Outrageous! You are ruining it for everyone else!
Beautiful, quiet place. We stayed for two lovely nights. Note that we ultimately had to insert €1 three times into the water machine to get just 100 liters. So 80 L for €1 is incorrect.
The place is very popular. It has everything you need. If only some dog owners would use their brains and not let their dogs relieve themselves on the site because they are too lazy to walk a few meters.
Older campsite with many permanent pitches and a corresponding number of dogs; the bin is overflowing with dog waste. On the outside there is a motorhome field with a view in the front row; when we arrived at 4 p.m., we got the second row. Markings were missing; otherwise everyone would have parked properly. Toilets are fine, but note that they are a 200 m walk away. Swimming in the lake costs €5 per person. Staff were not friendly but efficient. Quiet night. Fine if you are self-sufficient or passing through.
Top place, good value for money, pleasantly quiet during the week, great view, and suitable for vehicles up to 12 m. Water and waste facilities are easily accessible.
Finally, a parking area with a panoramic view. Most parking areas are enclosed by shrubs and hedges, so you cannot see anything beyond them. We think this place is great and keep coming back. The welcome is also super friendly.
The camping village is unsuitable for one night. We stayed in the motorhome parking area. Unfortunately, more and more campers are using two spaces. What we object to is that you cannot dispose of your rubbish if you stay only one night, and that you have to pay for a four-month-old baby, even if it is only €1. Reception does not open until 8:15 a.m., and you cannot buy shower tokens before then. Definitely bring plenty of toilet paper, because it was always empty for us.
Medium-sized, slightly sloping pitch. The view from the front row is beautiful. However, the pitches should be marked. Some people parked more than generously. The sanitary facilities are a short walk away; there are only two showers and they cost an extra €2. The price itself is really okay, though. You can clearly hear the road, especially at night (although there is little traffic then).
Certainly a beautiful place. Unfortunately, the usual problem when there are no markings: everyone parks with a gap of one and a half motorhome widths, awning extended, so that no other motorhome can fit in between. Very disappointing, so I drove on again.
Lovely and quiet. An incredibly beautiful lake. Friendly welcome from the holiday village operator.
We stayed here for two days with our two dogs. The welcome was very friendly and all our questions were answered. If you get a place in the first row, you can enjoy the truly wonderful view. Early in the morning, however, the road traffic is clearly audible, so sleeping late is not really possible. The toilets and showers at the adjacent campsite can also be used.
Very beautiful view, completely quiet, and you can get bread rolls at the campsite reception. You can also shop there. A lovely walk through the forest to Pulvermaar (beer garden and swimming pool) and to Määrchen.
Very friendly and helpful welcome, easy to find at the campsite. Waste disposal is also possible there, provided everything is separated as instructed. The site is spacious, with the best views at the front or shade in the second row along the forest. A lovely 1.5 km footpath along the maar to Gillenfeld, where there are restaurants. We recommend the pizzas at the local kebab shop.
After exactly 46 liters, the drinking-water tap was closed again, although supposedly 80 liters of water are provided for €1.
The view is really beautiful and the pitches are spacious too. There is nothing to complain about. We were also welcomed in a friendly and uncomplicated manner. We found it somewhat unusual that the charge is calculated according to the number of people and dogs. We are not used to that at motorhome pitches.
Super beautiful view. We wandered around a bit before finding the reception; others had the same problem. Good value for money. It is a shame that you can only swim at the outdoor pool at Pulvermaar.
After discovering the site on the way there, I went straight back there again on the return journey. It is quiet, right next to the fields; at night you can see the stars, and in the morning the sunrise. It is a short walk to the campsite with showers, but in return you have plenty of space, and at €12 per night (van and one person), the site is inexpensive. There is a natural outdoor swimming pool 200 meters away in the valley.
