Been here?
A campsite 8 km from Klaipėda, located among trees and about 400 m from the beach. Facilities include electricity, laundry, internet, a kitchen, barbecue, sauna, playground, and tennis court, although the sanitary facilities are basic and showers may be cold or only lukewarm. A nearby railway causes noticeable nighttime noise, with trains passing in the middle of the night. A camper, trailer, two people, and electricity recently cost 42€ for one night.

Nice camping if you like a cold shower and a busy railroad with passing trains in the middle of the night
Poor value for money. The staff are friendly, but a vehicle with trailer, two people, electricity, and one night cost €42. Hot water in the showers is provided by an instantaneous water heater: either an icy torrent or a lukewarm trickle. Toilet paper must be disposed of in a trash bin. Railway tracks are immediately nearby, making it intermittently very loud.
We stayed for one night. The shower water was slightly warm. The facilities and showers are not modern but clean and functional. Kitchen with tables and refrigerator. Attention: there are two Schuko-type electrical connections, not three. Pitches are among the pine trees. A 10-minute walk leads to the beautiful, kilometers-long sandy and pebbly Baltic Sea beach. A lovely round trip walk to the Soviet bunker. Bye.
We drove to this campsite at night after the ferry without registering and were able to choose a pitch. The next morning, someone was available from 9 a.m. to collect payment. Very nice staff. At first, we saw only one toilet including a shower at night. However, there are more, as I discovered the next morning, including a kitchen and lounge. We did not hear the train at night.
Too expensive. €37 for a camper, two adults, and electricity. Understandable in summer, but not now. If you have a dog, it costs another €5, but there are no facilities for dogs. The campsite is under the trees, cool in summer. Sanitary facilities are very basic and simple, but clean. Only one shower was usable now, and it was not always warm. Far too expensive for the quality offered.
Chosen as an overnight stop because of its location and transport connections to central Klaipėda by bicycle, train, and bus. A sandy beach is a few minutes' walk away. There is an excellent wooden walking trail by the beach. Friendly staff. Downsides: only one warm shower room was in use during the off-season, and train noise from the harbor's freight traffic may disturb light sleepers. The indoor facilities are already somewhat worn.
The campsite is open, but only one toilet and one shower for four motorhomes, seven people, and two toddlers is really not enough. We were told at reception that it is fully operational only from May. The location is beautiful, but the railway line could disturb noise-sensitive people.
This campsite is great, with the sea very close and the forest for walks. A very beautiful place, and I hope to return. Even though the train and its noise at night are impressive, every pitch has its own tap, waste outlet, electrical connections, and paved space. Benches and a table are nearby. But the forest is worth it.
Spacious camping with good facitilies however showers could be cleaner. It’s located bext to the railway so beware if you are sensitive to occasional noise. We paid 39€ for 4 adults and camper for one night in off season.
The site looks somewhat run-down. The showers and toilets are not very clean, and the shower is lukewarm. The staff were unfriendly. We would not come again.
Good location under pine trees and quickly reachable from the sea by bicycle. Clean washrooms, unlimited hot showers. Pitch without electricity for €24. The only disadvantage is the proximity to the railway.
Located under tall trees, with friendly staff and clean sanitary facilities. You can reach Klaipėda city center either by bicycle, about 30 minutes, or by bus, lines 4 or 4A, €1.50. From there, you can take the passenger ferry to the Curonian Spit for €1.70 return, including a bicycle. A bus to Nida runs regularly from the landing stage there, €6 one way. €26 for two nights, a bus, and one person without electricity.
Beautiful campsite with nice RV parking, but not worth the EUR 32. No warm water for showering. Bathroom could use some maintenance but nice and clean
Fantastic location in the forest and very close to the beach, with friendly staff. Facilities are insufficient for the crowded campsite around mid-August. The trains did not disturb us; we had a good stay. The city is easily reached by bicycle from the campsite.
The location is very nice but the showers are very outdated, they barely have hot water and very little pressure. The train trucks are very close and the sound could bother people
Cozy site with lots of shade. Clean showers, nice staff, good atmosphere. The only issue is that the freight trains at night are really loud.
There is barely any water flowing in the showers; washing long hair is an impossible mission, and the water is cool. The sea is 1 km away. It is impossible to sleep at night because the train noise and signals are irritating. We paid €38 for two adults, two children, and a camper for one night; I would say that is expensive. There is still room for improvement.
Yes, the site is no longer the newest, but we were served and shown to our place courteously, and overall everything is okay. For the price, you cannot complain.
Beautiful place, we stayed for three nights, unfortunately our bicycle was stolen from the locked bike rack; the campsite is constantly open!!!
Campsite under dense trees 10 km to the ferry. Cycle path available. Everything clean. No Wi-Fi at the pitches and the showers... well... clean, but the water only trickles. Two of the four showers do not work at all. Chemical toilet can be emptied directly beside the camper. Electricity included. €32 for two people and a motorhome. 10% discount for ADAC members.
Beautiful site in an old fir forest. Former forester's house. Everything clean and well maintained. Railway line runs alongside. It did not bother us much. Pitches are paved and level.
A campsite showing its age in a dense forest, with no sun. Showers only have lukewarm water. Water and waste disposal on site, although it is unclear whether the chemical toilet may also be emptied there. Quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., although freight trains pass directly by the site at night. The site is not secured by staff. Barrier open. Departure only from 9 a.m., which is too late for the ferry.
Beautiful campsite in the middle of the forest, fresh-water and waste disposal plus electricity all on site. Showers and toilets are outdated, but we still felt comfortable.
Top site outside the season. I called the phone number and 30 minutes later a lovely lady arrived. The sanitary facilities were closed, so we were given the key to a rental cabin, with our own heated bathroom and kitchen. €25 per night with electricity. Of course, we slept in the camper, not the cabin. Great service and nice people; the rest has been mentioned often enough.
