Free parking, leave by morning

Free parking, ideal for visiting Genoa, 25 minutes from the historic city center. Easy to access, with many cars, which can make parking a large motorhome difficult. We stayed for four hours without any problem.

It is suitable for a camper no longer than 6 m; the spaces are for cars. We left it there during the day to visit the city, which is about 30 minutes away by bus. The bus can be taken opposite the parking area. It is free. On a weekday, we had no trouble finding a space.

It is a stadium parking lot and it is not that spacious, and as it fills up quickly and the parking spaces are small it is not very suitable for motorhomes. It was also noisy and we didn't feel completely safe.

Probably the simplest solution if you want to spend the night in Genoa, given the shortage of parking in the city. Its advantages are that it is very close to the motorway exit and it is easy to reach the center by public transport. The drawbacks are that it is very noisy, with traffic throughout the night, and on days when there is a match at the stadium you must leave by 7 in the morning.

Good for one night, a little noisy. Be careful: the police moved us on at 9 in the morning.

We came here specially on Saturday at around 9 p.m. to make it easier to find a parking space, but the police sent us away at 9 a.m.!

We arrived from the ferry at 7 a.m. A few spaces were still available, but only for normal car length and width. From 9 a.m. on Saturday, parking would have been almost impossible; everything was full. Recycling bins are available on the opposite street.

Free parking in the city, only about 40-50 min from the fountain. There are only 2 places for a van but a lot of places for normal cars. We parked there for the day and everything was okay. But there is a lot of sketchy people around the parking lot.

Without a doubt, I think this is the best free parking area in Genoa for motorhomes. We arrived around 1 a.m., spent the night there and the following day. It is a busy area with both cars and traffic, but quite quiet and safe, with no thefts. There is a Lidl right next door and a bus stop that takes you to the center. The center is a 30-minute walk away. Do not park when there is a match!

We had bad luck - there were young people who were learning to ride scooters until 2 am. Very noisy, full with many cars and motorhomes. Other than that - good location and a bus to downtown, easy to find and possible to open your windows during the night.

We spent one night in our van here. It is strange to sleep in a parking lot like this, but it is very convenient and security staff gave us permission. Also ideal as a daytime parking area.

We left the motorhome here during the day. There is room for one motorhome, it is easy to access, and it is free. The number 37 bus takes you to central Genoa in 20–30 minutes.

Excellent parking; we found a space around 11 a.m. It is free and a 30-minute walk from the city center, plus 300 steps. Ideal for visiting the city with free parking.

It is not possible to find a space during the day; it was completely full.

Very good for visiting Genoa, but beware of the ZTL zones and check them before driving there to avoid receiving a fine. The parking area is inaccessible on match days.

It may be a good solution for visiting the city. We did not stay because we did not want to sleep here.

We arrived around 4 p.m. and there were no spaces available. In any case, the place did not make us want to stay.

We spent one night in the parking area. There was noise in the evening and at dawn, but we slept during the night. It felt safe because it was illuminated. The old town can be reached in 25 minutes by bus 13.

Excellent for overnighting if you are self-sufficient. Beware on football match days: you must leave at 7 a.m.

Large parking area. We stayed there for a few hours during the day to explore the city. It is quite a long walk, but manageable if you have no mobility restrictions. It might be too noisy for overnight stays because there is a lot of traffic on both sides. It can only be used when no match is being held at the stadium, but it is free.

We parked here for two nights with no issues. There were police around a lot of the time but only as a stopping point it seemed. We did have to move on at 7am on the final morning as there was a football match happening later and the car park isn’t available when that happens. Just a 30 minute walk into Genoa, which is worth a visit. A bit noisy but we were prepared for this with earplugs!

Perfect for visiting the city. Free parking with plenty of spaces.
