Been here?
Free motorhome area with 7 pitches near the town and beside the fire station. Shops, restaurants, a park and toilets across the street are within walking distance. All services, including electricity, are free and currently operational, although the pitches are very sloped. Urban noise can be considerable; pull the gate open from the bottom to access the electrical hookups.

We stopped at this practical parking area. Without the storm, we would not have stopped there, despite all the free services. Very steep even with leveling blocks, and not ideal with a dog.Translating
Excellent location. Free electricity. Good facilities. What more could you ask for? Thank you, Alfândega, for your hospitality.Translating
27/03/2026. An area that deserves to exist in this region but has nothing glamorous about it. All free services are operational, including electricity; spaces are slightly sloped and 4G is fine. The bonus: a lovely green space just two steps away.Translating
Extraordinary place for a stop. Unfortunately, there is a lot of urban noise. We spent one night due to travel circumstances. We give it two stars for the quality of the facilities.Translating
A perfect place in the middle of a small town. There is all service and it's for free. Toilets are in the building on the other side of the street. When we were there there were no other campers parked so it was not crowded right now. There is a park where you can walk, do sports, play with your children or dog.
Today, 15 November 2025, we are alone at this well-maintained motorhome area. Satellite reception and internet work. Many thanks to the municipality.Translating
We had a trouble-free night. We walked to the castle ruins and the church. You can find everything you need at the nearby supermarket. There is a wastewater disposal point.Translating
Immaculate place for one night. Close to a supermarket and café.Translating
Only one star because it was extremely noisy. Between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., there was a quad-bike competition in the pit opposite the motorhome area, with engines exploding like bombs, followed by loud music through speakers until 5 a.m. A terrible night. Absolutely no peace! The facilities themselves were perfect. We were allowed to use the fire brigade’s water to thoroughly rinse the motorhome. Maybe it was just the wrong time.Translating
All services, including electricity! Thank you to the municipality!Translating
Top motorhome area with everything you need and many bars and restaurants.Translating
Stayed alone for one night. A little noisy in the morning. Services worked. We did not need electricity, so I cannot comment on that.Translating
Well located, next to the town and opposite the volunteer fire brigade. The only point to note is that there are not enough electrical sockets for all spaces.Translating
Well-located motorhome area right in the town center. Currently only four electrical sockets are available. Restaurant Bairal is highly recommended. Sometimes people ignore the markings and squeeze in between, making it uncomfortably tight. Seven spaces are just seven spaces. Leveling blocks are necessary. Suitable for vehicles up to 7.5 m.Translating
We spent one night, very peacefully, but felt somewhat unsafe, either because we were alone or because of the street traffic. We congratulate the town council on providing electricity!Translating
Quiet at night. Opposite the old market hall with café, post office, etc., and a public toilet at the rear upper section. Trailers must be unhitched, so a mover is recommended. Suitable for short- to medium-length motorhomes. Attention: the ground slopes sideways, at the middle level of a three-level ramp. Facilities: fresh water, wastewater disposal, and presumably electricity, not tested.Translating
Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us to a pleasant town with all the shops. We will gladly return.Translating
Access to electricity appeared to be closed. Slightly sloped. There are picnic tables and it is well located.Translating
ALL services FREE!!! Right in the center, quiet night. Excellent food at Restaurant O Bairral with friendly service. We happily used the leveling blocks and say THANK YOU to the municipality!Translating
Excellent service area. It was a shame the builder did not level the parking area; otherwise, everything was fine.Translating
Nice and good motorhome area. Free, with electricity, drinking water, waste disposal, and grey-water drainage. I was there alone overnight but felt safe. Opposite the fire brigade. Supermarket nearby and a little café too. Recommended.Translating
Great place with all services working well. Just note that although there are seven parking spaces, there are only four electrical sockets. Quiet and safe night.
Great place, excellent area with water, drainage, and free electricity. Thank you to the town. Nice village and the O Bairral restaurant is excellent, with a lovely French-speaking owner.
Superb area with a lovely village, and above all a very good restaurant, O Bairral. The friendly owner speaks French.
Complete area with free electricity, somewhat uneven but easily solved with leveling blocks. Amusingly, it is right inside the town beside an avenue, so there is traffic during the day, but at night it feels like the middle of nowhere because it is so quiet. Since it is next to the fire brigade, there may be a risk of the siren calling volunteers in summer—or maybe not.
Quiet area even at night despite being close to the road. The spaces are slightly sloped. A bar is directly opposite the area. The supermarket is 300 m away. Thank you to the municipality for the free services.
