Free daytime parking, theft reported

A huge free parking lot with spaces approximately 5-6 meters long, within walking distance of central Pisa. Overnight stays are not allowed. A recent comment reports that a motorhome was emptied during a 1-hour walk and that police did not help.

Caution! After a one-hour walk, the motorhome will be emptied! The police do not help! Most places are closed because they finish work at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Stayed here during our visit to Pisa and can recommend! Easter Monday morning, plenty of space and felt safe, if not counting the Italians kids playing football on a parking spot. "You can only park in paid spots on Wednesday and on Saturday, till 16:00. After this time you can freely park - all of the parking spots bordered in WHITE ARE FREE - all of the parking spots bordered in BLUE ARE PAID"
