Been here?
Quiet parking among vineyards near the Tour de Beaumont, with a picnic table, benches, bins and a wide view over the estuary. The parking area accommodates about 2 to 4 vehicles and is suitable for an overnight stay, although it is not sufficiently level for sleeping in some places. The tower and viewpoint are a few hundred metres away, reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Access beyond the entrance can be difficult for vans, and mosquitoes may be troublesome.

The place is magnificent. No noise at night; it was very pleasant.Translating
Park in the parking area at the entrance to the path. We tried to go higher, but it was impossible to get through the final section with a Ford van.Translating
Very good spot, with a magnificent viewpoint less than a five-minute walk away (the uphill section is normally forbidden to vehicles). A beautiful sunset and sunrise to watch. But beware of mosquitoes! We stopped one evening in mid-October and were infested; we ended up cooking and eating in the van. Bring mosquito repellent!Translating
Do not hesitate to take the path leading to Beaumont Tower. No height restriction, and the view is fantastic. An extra bonus for us: a stork joined us for drinks for 30 minutes!Translating
Quiet place. We even continued along the track with our 2 L2H1 vans and parked at the top of the hill for a 360-degree view of the estuary. A little windy, but the view at sunrise made it worthwhile. There were no signs forbidding it, so we gave it a try.Translating

Good, but if you want to be completely alone, forget it—many people stop and leave to go for walks. I am just going to sleep here tonight, but I will probably leave tomorrow. WARNING: in the evening, do not go to the top—it was overrun with hornets!Translating
