Camping municipal Canadian Scottish**

In my opinion, excellent value for money, hence four stars from us. We paid around €20 including electricity in high season. Beautiful location directly on the beach, with the town center about 25 minutes away on foot. Spacious pitches, a bistro, and occasional live music in the evening. Small, new playground. Sanitary facilities okay, but no toilet paper. Very friendly and helpful staff. Few shaded pitches.

Campsite on the beach. Showers and toilets unfortunately not very clean. Showers lukewarm. The beach is beautiful.

We spent two nights from July 19. Beautiful location by the sea and close to Juno Beach town center. A minor downside is the pitches along the road, which is fairly noisy. Bread delivery is available by reservation the day before.

Completely okay campsite; we got the very last pitch. Fresh bread was available in the morning. Showers and toilets were okay.

It is a shame that dogs are not allowed on the beach. It would have been worthwhile to set aside a few meters where they could walk on the sand and swim.

Very close to the beach, and reception spoke English quite well. The site itself was pleasantly level and sufficiently spacious. Unfortunately, campers there do not take the leash requirement for dogs very seriously, and many dogs roam free. The toilets meet French standards: no paper and no toilet seats, and the water temperature cannot be adjusted. The road is clearly audible.

Nice site for a last minute stop. Very busy with permanent campers but pitches are large enough for any size of set up. Facilities a bit dated. Great access to the beach. We walked along the dunes a few hundred meters to let out dogs on the beach. would return.

Fine for two nights. At €20 without electricity for two adults and two children, it is very cheap. The ability to rinse off after the beach and sea alone makes it worthwhile. Spacious pitches and reasonably sheltered from the wind. At a campsite like this, it depends on your neighbors; we were next to friendly French seasonal campers who were quiet in the evening and at night, while it was less peaceful farther away.

Large campsite behind the dune. All pitches are large, at least 80 square meters. Sanitary facilities were okay, although the site was very full. There is no shade on the campsite. Very friendly reception. A dog beach about 400 meters to the right of the campsite is easily reached over the dune. Two people, dog, electricity, and camper van: €22. We did not try the kiosk, which offers everything from burgers and omelets to fish and chips.

Very well located along a beautiful, uncrowded beach, although there is no sea view from the campsite. Very warm welcome, sanitary facilities in good condition and clean. Excellent pastries available by ordering the previous evening.

Very nice place. Dedicated, suitable pitches. Courteous welcome. A restaurant on site. Fresh bread available in the morning. You can stop just for a shower: €3.20.

Everything has already been said. This is our second visit, and we will gladly return.

We arrived at a very busy and noisy site, but apparently it was a long holiday weekend. No one seemed to observe quiet hours after 10 p.m., so we found it difficult to sleep. Sunday night was much quieter. Sanitary facilities are very basic.

Despite the changeable weather, this is a great campsite. I recommend it and we will return. Very friendly welcome, clean toilets and showers, everything easily accessible, and electricity and water readily available. The pitches are excellent, it is very friendly and peaceful, and you can take wonderful walks along the easily accessible seafront.

Good value for money, great location on the beach, friendly staff, and large pitches, but the sanitary facilities are very outdated. The toilets have neither seats nor toilet paper and are only moderately clean. One star deducted for that.

Very cheerful and helpful staff. A very wet and windy night, but the site was peaceful, clean, and inexpensive. The toilet and shower block is a little tired, but there is plenty of hot water. We would use it again.

Pleased to report on this very nice place next to the Canadian Juno Beach memorial, with a pleasant walk along the beach. Easy access and large grassy pitches. Pleasant reception until 7 p.m. Small bar. The sanitary facilities could be modernized, but are still okay.

We loved the site. Five stars for the friendliness and the cozy bar. Great starting point for a tour along the D-Day beaches. The sanitary facilities are rather rustic.

Advantages: close to the sandy beach, spacious pitches, quiet, good cycling network, and at €19 in September, one of the cheaper campsites. Disadvantages: toilets and showers not very clean, toilet brushes apparently never replaced, hot water cannot be adjusted, and reception friendliness was borderline.

We are very satisfied with this campsite: its location, all its amenities, and its price. I recommend it! Bébert.

Campsite directly behind the dune, €19.50 per 24 hours for two people and a motorhome. Large motorhome pitch, small snack bar, and baguettes can be ordered the day before. Toilets and showers are so-so; you must not be too sensitive. The showers are properly hot. By bicycle, it is 5–10 minutes to Courseulles-sur-Mer and 30 minutes to Arromanches-les-Bains, both absolutely worth seeing, with cycle paths available for almost the entire route. Everyone else was very friendly.

Very close to the beach. Everything is relaxed and peaceful. Price is €12 without electricity or €19 with electricity. The site was only half full. Bread-roll service available. The town is 2.5 km away, which is no problem by bike. Carrefour is in the town center.

This place was one of the cheapest campgrounds we used, they gave everything you need, we are travelling in a simple van with no power so paid arround 12 euro to stay. I love having the little bar in the campground and its so close to beach and D-day memorials.

Thanks to the municipality for this beautiful area, the price, the sanitary facilities, the large pitches, and the proximity to Courseulles-sur-Mer. Thanks also for the kindness of the person at reception. Cathy.

Very noisy, lot of kids running and shouting around. The toilets are a weapon of mass destruction. Didn’t dare to use the showers due to potential biohazard. This is a budget camping so you get what you pay for. The beach looks nice though but too many rules. It is revolting that dogs are simply not allowed on the beach. Bar lady was nice had a good omelette there so give a star for that.

It felt like the Paris suburbs: children rode scooters around in the evening as if on the ring road. It was chaotic, with noise late into the night and no response from management. Strongly not recommended. Let us not even mention the cleanliness.

Review: Very noisy campsite. No staff member intervened to stop the noise after 11:30 p.m., despite the presence of many families. It was impossible to sleep, even with young children. We were very disappointed by this lack of respect and supervision.

We liked neither the site (toilets without seats, very cramped) nor the beach (full of algae, smells unpleasant). OK for one night.

A very beautifully situated campsite. The sanitary facilities are outdated, but adequate for the number of campers. There is a small tavern on site where you can pre-order baguettes and get something to eat. We received a very friendly welcome. For a motorhome including two people, we paid €12.50 per night, which is a dream price for the location.

The campsite is right on the beach, five stars for the location. It is well delimited, well maintained, and the pitches are spacious and level, five stars. The staff are very friendly, five stars. The bathrooms are a little dirty, two stars; there is also only one sanitary block in the middle of the campsite, so it is far from some pitches. The village is not far away, half an hour on foot along the beach.

Beautiful site, generously sized pitches. The sanitary facilities were fine when we were there. For the price—€20 per night for two people, two dogs and electricity—everything was excellent. Direct access to the beach. Nice walks possible. Very friendly and uncomplicated reception.

A superb location. Directly on the beach (dogs forbidden between June 1 and October 1, but poorly enforced). Pleasant welcome. The pitches are very spacious. A power connection may be far away. Good bar with a small restaurant. The sanitary facilities are really outdated and moderately clean. A great base for cycling trips to the many museums and monuments nearby.

Beautiful campsite in a good location, directly by the sea and at a good price! Unfortunately, the toilets are not cleaned well; I felt that nothing had been done during the four days I was here! The showers are great, hot and powerful! The staff are friendly! Everything is excellent except the toilets!

Good price €11 for a night. Facilities were ok but could have done with having toilet seats and toilet roll.

Very nice campsite, beach behind the fence, clean sanitary facilities, washing machine, dryer, a restaurant for those who do not like cooking, and fresh baguettes in the morning. Quiet and peaceful. The price in May was €35.10 for three nights for two people and a van.
