Sandmosevej, 9460, Brovst
Been here?
A quiet beach parking area on a relatively uncrowded car beach, suited to visitors seeking a more secluded coastal setting. Driving on the sand can be difficult, and heavier motorhomes may become stuck, especially near soft sand and dunes. The adjacent military area can be used for exercises with live ammunition. A toilet building is described at the beach entrance, although availability has been disputed.

Beautiful and quiet beach accessible by car. If you drive carefully, you will not get stuck. It is much less busy than other car-accessible beaches nearby. The adjacent military area is not a problem. Perfect for those who prefer somewhere quieter.Translating
The beach is not very easy to drive on. The dunes are military territory and may also be used for live-fire exercises when needed.Translating
There are no toilets, so we did not stay overnight.Translating
Dane here. It's illegal to camp on any beach in Denmark and unexperienced drivers are likely to get stuck in the sand. You might get away with it however I wouldn't recommend it
It is better to use the small parking area, as I think the seaside section is only accessible with a 4x4.Translating
Be careful: heavy vehicles such as motorhomes get stuck in the sand on the beach; it is only accessible to cars or vans. We found that out the hard way. Fortunately, a 4x4 was there and pulled us out of the sand! There is, however, a small parking area at the entrance to the beach, without a sea view. The place is very beautiful and worth visiting!Translating
I was very satisfied here in July 2022, except that the beach was a little too crowded, with cars, vans and motorhomes packed closely together. From around 5 p.m. it became noticeably emptier, as shown in the picture. The only issue is soft sand on the access road; otherwise, perfect.Translating
No doubt a very beautiful spot, but to get there you have to drive 7 km on a road made of uneven concrete slabs. You have to drive very slowly to avoid damaging the vehicle. So after 1 km, we turned around! No opinion on the site itself, but this is a warning about access.Translating
Unless you have a 4x4, it is really not a good idea to stay on this soft, deserted beach. The road there is also poor. The parking area just before the beach is not great either. In the dunes beside the road there is a sign saying that parking motorhomes is forbidden. I do not recommend this place; there are many nicer locations to be found.Translating
