Quiet canal parking, paid

Apparently always quite full, at least in July. Lots of puddles, otherwise a good location. You can now also pay by credit card. See the website, where individual pitches can also be reserved.

Good location directly by the canal. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 2 p.m., all ten spaces were occupied by boat trailers.

Quiet place. A little boring. No facilities apart from a smelly dry toilet. Space number 1 is unusable unless you have a very small car.

A gravel area with potholes that must be shared with cars. Directly by the canal with a swing bridge and charming red houses around it! It seems fairly quiet, but we did not like it here, so we drove on.

We paid 125 SEK today for one night via the barcode or the Göta Canal website using a German VISA credit card. The only service here is a rubbish bin and a dry toilet.

We stayed here for two nights. The site has a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere that is very soothing. We cycled along the canal to Hajstorp and really enjoyed these days.

Excellent place for one night. Lovely with the canal and boating activity. A little difficult to understand how to position yourself, since it seems the spaces are shared with parked boat owners. The charge applies between 18:00 and 09:00.

Nice place near the canal. This is perfect if you want to cycle along the Göta Canal. We are planning to cycle to Sjötorp and back as a day trip!

A really beautiful motorhome spot; we stayed here for two days. A donation is requested. I wondered why there were so few people.

We stayed here for one night at the end of September during heavy rain. Besides the pit toilet, there is also a small camping area with a barbecue area and positive, welcoming information about Sweden’s right of public access. Woken early by a boat being launched. As we did not have access to Swish, which is currently practically impossible for holidaymakers, we put €10 in the slipway collection box.

Very beautiful place, unfortunately payable only with Swish. The parking spaces are occupied by locals who park their cars and boat trailers. We parked on the grass beside the canal.

Now in the low season, a very quiet place directly at the end of the Göta Canal—we were completely alone. It is only for self-sufficient vehicles. We took a wonderful bike ride. There is a pit toilet on the site—for two ;)—funny.
