Quiet canal area, free showers

Perfect! Very clean shower and toilet. Small farmers' market from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Very friendly people. Quiet night. Many, many thanks to the municipality!

Very quiet aire. Thank you to the municipality for developing this area with tables, benches, a pétanque court, shower and toilets. The free charging station for electric bicycles is a real plus. A small drawback in rainy weather: it must be more difficult because the ground is grassy and slightly sloping. We spent two days with four motorhomes touring and visiting the region by bicycle.

Very beautiful aire! Thank you to the town hall. But why do some motorhome users not understand the rules, namely: do not empty black-water cassettes into the toilets, especially since there is a disposal point 4 km away!

A wonderful motorhome site. I can highly recommend it. Very quiet; you can enjoy nature. A mobile baker would be ideal.

Very nice parking area. Thank you to all users for emptying grey and black water in Marcigny, which is equipped for this, rather than emptying it into the dishwashing basins and toilets.

Great place with renovated sanitary facilities, barbecue, several picnic tables, and an excellent pitch. Electrical hookup costs €3 for four hours. Thank you to the municipality.

Unfortunately, the site is quite sloping, and almost the only strip where you can park properly is at the bottom along the basin. However, rainwater accumulates there and, since the ground is completely unpaved, getting stuck in the mud is a real risk. Then there is the slope to climb back up. It is best to make sure several days of dry weather are forecast. Otherwise, it is a beautiful and well-equipped place.

Newly renovated so the facilities are impeccable & free apart from hook up & water. The location is peaceful & beautiful & there looks to be cycling & walking from the site. The aire lost a star as the showers were locked. A fellow camper informed me they are shut for the winter season. We were longing for a nice hot shower when we arrived last night after a long day travelling.

Nice facility. Unfortunately we had to move on as the ground was muddy and the wheel span. With more rain due overnight we thought it best to move to another place.

Magnificent area! With bathrooms, shower and dishwashing area. Bins and the option to plug in. There is a small bar open with two girls who also sell local products. We bought jam and they were very pleasant. Many thanks to the municipality. A charming and very peaceful place.

We have just spent two nights there. Very quiet and pleasant place, with practically everything needed. Thanks to the residents of this small municipality, as well as the mayor, who came to meet the people staying in the area. I would like to point out that Artaix is a small village without any shops, so tourists bring no economic benefits. So, thank you very much.

Excellent place, offering access to sanitary facilities, a pétanque court, a table-tennis table and physical-activity equipment. It is a really good, well-maintained site because everything is brand new.

Thank you to the municipality for this beautiful place. We were even welcomed by the mayor. In summer, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, local products can be purchased. Hot shower and toilet available. Charging station and repair tools for bicycles, even a pump. The only thing missing is shade, which should arrive within one or two years when the trees have grown.

Very clean place worthy of an aire, with showers, toilets and dishwashing sinks, as well as a free playground and electrical outlets. After two years of work following a storm, Artaix has managed to welcome us. Everyone should leave this aire clean. The mayor personally comes to see you. There is also a project for an electric boat. He is doing everything to make it work; it is up to us to leave the place as we found it.
