First Camp Ajstrup Strand – Aarhus

We stayed for one night in mid-July and paid €68. The swimming pool costs an additional 30 kroner. The reception staff were very nice. The shower next to the pool smelled musty. The pitch layout was not very comfortable. The campsite was basically okay, but overpriced at €68. Other sites offer more for less money.✦Translating

We were there for "only" one night. Although there was plenty of space, we were given the pitch right next to the rubbish and clattering glass recycling bins, all for a hefty €50.84! Inattentive service and too expensive!✦Translating

We stayed there for two nights at the beginning of June. Facilities okay. The value for money is not very good unless you have an ACSI card, which gives an off-season rate. Interesting if you have children; the campsite has a large playground and trampoline. Pool and jacuzzi available for an extra charge.✦Translating

For 355 DKK we got a wonderful sunny pitch and were also able to do laundry twice for free. The showers can be used without tokens or coins. So, a great, albeit expensive, campsite.✦Translating

Very nice and well-maintained site. Excellent sanitary facilities and a comfortable kitchen. The cycle path to Aarhus starts directly at the entrance. Very friendly staff.✦Translating

Large campsite with plenty of laundry facilities, a kitchen with hobs, showers that are too outdated and need renovation, toilets, and more. However, the pitches are too tightly packed, with some areas of unmown grass, such as the basketball court, and barely any separation between private spaces. Overall, it could be better!✦Translating

Two nights: two adults 340 DKK, pitch with electricity 340 DKK, one dog 50 DKK, environmental fee, which we have never had to pay elsewhere, 100 DKK; total 830 DKK, about €110, for two adults in a motorhome with a dog. In our opinion, it is mainly worthwhile for children, with a playground and so on. Only the Wi-Fi was free, and even for free it was useless because the connection was practically nonexistent. Pool 30 DKK per use. We skipped it.✦Translating

First and foremost, there was a swimming pool. The showers were also perfectly fine. Playgrounds with large and small inflatable bouncy castles. Close to the sea. Wonderful!✦Translating

We spent two nights here, but it is not great. The staff are trying, though at unfortunate times: the toilets and showers are cleaned from 8 a.m., causing quite a queue. Once it gets really full, there will be problems! Otherwise, there is nothing in the surrounding area. There is a small swimming pool, which can be used for 30 kroner.✦Translating
