Been here?
This is a quiet gravel camping area at a winegrower near the Moselle, with views of Burg Metternich. The reported price is 18€ including electricity, while the site is somewhat narrow and often requires levelling blocks. Toilets are clean, and there is one shower and one toilet per gender; showers may run briefly or cost 1 euro for about 5 minutes. The Moselle and a short ferry crossing to Beilstein are nearby.

We spontaneously got a pitch in the afternoon and paid €18 including electricity. The showers run for a fairly short time, so be prepared. Overall, there is one shower and one toilet per gender. Great spot, beautifully located with a view of Metternich Castle. The pitch is gravel and somewhat uneven. On a lightly trafficked road, opposite holiday apartments, so the noise level is minimal.Translating
Stayed for 2 nights, gravel parking area and needs levelling blocks. Very friendly hosts who are wine growers and have very nice wine for sale . Toilets are very clean but we couldn’t get the shower to work! Close to the Moselle river where there is a short ferry across to Bellstein which is beautiful. There are excellent cycle tracks on both sides of the river.Translating
Very nice hosts. Delicious wine. Clean toilet and shower. We will come again.Translating
We spent one quiet night here. Nice welcome, everything as previously described. We felt very comfortable.Translating
Stayed here for one night for €18 with electricity. At most pitches you need leveling blocks and the surface is gravel. You can fill up with water and empty waste here. The shower costs €1 for about five minutes.Translating
Not good... not bad. It costs €18 instead of €15. One shower, two toilets. Dated, but relatively clean. Campers are packed closely together, which is a shame because there is little or no sunlight. Friendly woman who explains everything well and speaks good English. Since we do not speak German, a good alternative. Easy to reach, with no super-narrow streets as is sometimes the case.Translating
A very friendly and easygoing host. Very quiet spot and delicious wine. We would be happy to return.Translating
Straightforward and friendly check-in. €18 from noon to noon. The gravel area is relatively narrow—not a problem outside the season, but surely unpleasant in summer. The toilets are basic. The shower is a simple tiled cubicle under the stairs. The showerhead is not properly mounted. Three minutes costs €1. Overall okay, not a disaster, but we would not stay again :)Translating
Nice place to stay, friendly owners and lovely wine! Electricity included for 15 eurosTranslating
“Thank you, Claudia, for the lovely camper pitch. In November it is not a given that you can find a place that is still open, so we were especially happy with our stay. The shower was wonderfully warm and the wine was excellent. We really enjoyed it!”Translating
We had a very nice time here. Everything a motorhome traveler needs is available. We spontaneously stayed one night longer. Thank you, Claudia and Udo.Translating
Good camper stop if you only need to stay for one night.Translating
Never again—unfriendly and unclean. No place to eat. Too few toilets and showers. Never again. Although it is a winery, no food is available.Translating
Everything was already full at noon. Nice little place, but not really suitable for large motorhomes—we are just over 8 m and needed considerable driving skill to get out again.Translating
tried to stay overnight however it was completely full, motorhomes very close together... full at 3pm Translating
Family-run area, one shower at €1 for three minutes, inconvenient grey-water drainage; on the plus side, a good stopover.Translating
Nice welcome after calling ahead (Saturday at 5 p.m., wine festival in town). Otherwise, the site was fully occupied. You need leveling blocks. And if you like, you can take a few bottles for the onward journey. Gladly again.Translating
Great camper stop at a small but lovely winery, somewhat sloping (do not forget leveling blocks). Very pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, no water or waste facilities, but that is okay. Showers and toilets are spotlessly clean. We would gladly return; it is nice and the price of €15 is justified.Translating
Absolutely excellent value for money. At many campsites along the Moselle, you are parked more tightly. Reservations are possible, just not for one night. This is also stated on the website. Unfortunately, some older guests have problems with cleanliness and personal space. But everyone perceives that differently. Otherwise, a lovely camper stop.Translating
A very good camper stop with a friendly and welcoming owner. We had a personal wine tasting with delicious wine. We can highly recommend a visit here!Translating
