Been here?
This flat, clean parking area offers views over a lake and mountains and serves as the starting point for several hikes. It has only 8-10 spots and is popular with local walkers, so arriving later helps leave space for hikers. The gravel access road can be rough and narrow, and the site is not suitable for large vehicles. Nights are quiet, though midges may be present and there is no rubbish bin.

Perfect place and a very quiet night. The only drawback: midges in the evening and the access road.
Absolutely perfect. At the foot of several walks, including one with a splendid view of the sea, the town, and the islands. Highly recommended. It only lacks a rubbish bin.
Beautiful location overlooking a lake and the mountains. It is also the parking lot for a popular hike which gets frequented by locals (8-10 spots max). Recommend getting there later in the evening to not occupy spots for hikers. The road there is freshly grated and improved. Not a place for large vehicles or travel trailer.
Very good spot for spending one night with an unobstructed view of the lake below. However, be careful of the gravel road to get here, which is not in very good condition.
Very beautiful surroundings! We spent one night there, together with another camper. The road is quite bumpy and not very wide, but manageable. We were lucky that no oncoming traffic came; there were also occasional small passing places.
Quiet, level, with a great view of the lake.
Beautiful place. Definitely recommended for spending a night!
Wonderful place. If Norwegians are already shaking their heads because a white giant is parked across the road, then you should react at the latest.
Sweet little spot with a great view, picnic table, and a starting point for hikes with good signage. However, the approach takes longer by motorhome than by car because of potholes and so on; although 60 km/h is allowed, you can realistically drive only 30 km/h. No experience staying overnight; it was just our lunch stop.
Magnificent view and a great hike starting from the car park. The place is very quiet and the road has little traffic. There are many hikers, however; the last cars left around 9:30 p.m. We did not dare set up camp beforehand.
Beautiful views, great walk up to the top of the nearby hill with astonishing all round views. Quiet overnight, well used by dog walkers at other times. More than one van might be a bit rude to the people using it for parking for the walk up the hill.
Magnificent spot! Incredible view! We were the only ones there with our van.
