Been here?
Huttopia Les Châteaux is a forested campsite near Chambord castle (8 km away), €32 per night all-inclusive with an indoor pool and half-covered outdoor pool. Pitches are spacious but shade is limited. Sanitary facilities are usually clean and heated; hot water is generally available. Recent reviews note that maintenance declined in June (dirty facilities, one sanitary block closed). Friendly reception and excellent bike access.

Excellent welcome; there is a lack of shade. Very clean sanitary block. Pool, with access also to the municipal pool. €32 all-inclusive, a little expensive for me. Orange network works well. Water point nearby as well as electricity. Waste disposal and filling at the entrance. 8 km from Chambord Castle.
Two visits per day are not enough, even in mid-June, especially since one sanitary block is closed. The area was not even swept in front of the sanitary facilities. Dirty carpet at the reception entrance. The bar counter was dirty and sticky. Clearly lacking rigor! Otherwise, very good location near the cycle path.
Super campsite at the city gates, with beautiful pitches, lush greenery, very quiet, and all services: pool and bar. Friendly welcome, chocolate shop nearby. Recommended.
Beautiful campsite in the woods. Small pool but quite good. Facilities okay, showers good but could be cleaner. Friendly reception. 10 km from Chambord Castle. You can cycle through the woods via a beautiful cycle path.
The campsite could be very good (ACSI), but the toilets were blocked during our stay, there was no hot water at the washing-up area, and no water at the motorhome service area. In short, the campsite is somewhat neglected.
Very warm welcome. The campsite is very natural, wooded, and quiet. The facilities are clean. A very pleasant stay; we recommend it.
Very attractive campsite, in the middle of nature and close to a small town center. Close to the châteaux. Fairly large pitch, clean and heated facilities. Numerous services offered at the campsite. We recommend it.
Heated sanitary facilities, breakfast service, no entertainment but plenty of play facilities with free equipment rental. Partly covered pool that was already open. Great for small children aged 5–8.
Great site near the town. Nice facilities with hot showers. Lots of pitches most with some shade from trees.
This October, the campsite is very quiet among the trees. Friendly welcome, well maintained. I’m removing one star because the sanitary facilities are not heated. Despite the hot water, it is difficult to warm up after the shower.
Nice, clean, everything fresh parents with children and dogs need. We will gladly return.
Hello, very clean campsite, spacious and green pitch, excellent welcome, very clean sanitary facilities, and guaranteed hot water. We stayed five nights and it was really very good. I recommend it!!!
We stayed here for one night and used the pool, which is nice for smaller children because it has a maximum depth of 1.10 metres and a small children’s pool. There is also a volleyball court, three table-tennis tables and a playground. Registration was by telephone and in German. On site, we communicated well in English. The sanitary facilities were clean. Really great for one night.
Lovely rural campsite with a pool and great cycling to be had nearby
Camping is okay overall. Decent sanitary facilities, playgrounds available, friendly staff. However, driving through the lanes in a motorhome is not very easy and the pitches lack privacy. Family campsite, so expect the ambient noise of children.
We have already stayed at quite a few Huttopia campsites. We are fans of the concept and very positive about the quality of the service and facilities. This time, however, we were disappointed… As other reviews said: a very large campsite with 274 pitches, lots of bustle and movement, dirty sanitary facilities, no privacy, overflowing rubbish containers, etc. At pitch 75 and the surrounding pitches, there was also a lot of noise during the day from the municipal outdoor swimming pool behind the hedge.
Reservation made with the motorhome dimensions. Once we arrived, the pitch was too small; it was impossible to park without scratching the motorhome. At reception, they suspected it would not work… I find it difficult to understand why they assigned a pitch that was unsuitable. The showers are spacious and hot. The campsite pool is only good for playing. The pizzas are excellent. Pleasant staff.
Lovely, well-located campsite with exceptionally friendly staff. Non-electric bike rental, with cycling routes right next door. Free campsite and municipal swimming pools, and a nice bar where you can shelter from the rain. It could be perfect if we were not packed so closely together on the pitches. With a very family-oriented clientele, it can quickly become very noisy and somewhat unpleasant.
Average campsite, not very clean sanitary facilities, but the pool is a plus. Just over €32 per night in August for two adults without electricity.
Disappointed by this three-star campsite: cold showers and cleaning only once a day in July, during the busy season... no privacy on the pitches. In short, too expensive for the services provided. Positive point: close to Chambord, Cheverny, Beauval Zoo, and very good pizzas at the snack bar.
Clean campsite and welcoming staff. I find the pitches a little small. Bakery and restaurant not far from the campsite, and the castles are accessible by bike.
We were here for three nights with two children and had a lovely time. The pizza tastes great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. The pitches are good and level. We were won over by the international, friendly and open atmosphere. There is also a tennis court, bicycles and other things to play with available free of charge. Great!
CLOSED. They gave no further explanation, but there were people at reception.
Ideal place to visit the châteaux or go for a bike ride. Campsite surrounded by nature. Toilets with toilet paper and hot water. Pool for relaxing in the mornings; in the afternoon it is noisy because there are many children. Large, level pitches. Affordable price.
Very helpful and welcoming staff. Very noisy campsite, small pitches. Few sanitary facilities open and they were dirty, cleaned once a day during a holiday weekend when the campsite was packed. The promised disconnection in nature is completely absent. This is not the right place to rest.
Stayed for three nights. Adequate pool. Very pleasant staff. Bicycle and electric-bike rental available. Small convenience shop. Simple children’s playground. Town centre and local shops accessible on foot. Rivers for fishing just nearby.
We arrived at 19:45, the reception closed at 19:00, we couldn't get in. So we went on to the camper park of chateau oc Chambor. Thats why I gave bad mark.
The campsite was still getting started because it was low season, so it was very quiet. Not all facilities were available. Spacious pitches, very friendly staff and lots on offer. Bread can be ordered. Washing and drying cost €5. The Sorento restaurant in the village is recommended for pizza, and the chocolatier around the corner is also worth a visit.
Beautiful spacious campsite with generally good and pleasant facilities. Nice bar and restaurant. A paradise for children, which is not an advantage for everyone. We were there at the beginning of May. Part of the sanitary buildings was closed and you literally had to wait half an hour for a drink. That can and should be improved, Huttopia…
A good place to recharge and rest.
Very pleasant campsite. Good welcome, many services and, above all, pitches that feel as if they are in the middle of nature, among trees and greenery. Great, we love it!
Campsite for one night, very friendly welcome, quiet in the forest, clean sanitary facilities.
