27 Rue du Pré Neuf, 01000, Bourg-en-Bresse
Been here?
Free service terminal near swimming pool with free water and free parking shared with cars. Black water disposal chronically blocked and unmaintained; greywater stagnates causing odors. Rubbish accumulates; recent dumpster fire and vandalism reported. Services inconsistently maintained with poor hygiene. Quiet nights but not recommended except for brief stops.

As always, an excellent stopover.
Service area not very clean, cassette dump clogged, wastewater drain stagnant, bad smells. Not great. Parking has to be shared with cars, but there was sufficient space. Quiet night.
We spent a very quiet night alongside several motorhomes; everything was very clean and working perfectly.
This place is very good, but some motorhome travelers leave the area dirty and clogged when dumping black water. I had to unclog and clean it because it was overflowing. Please leave this place clean.
Very well-placed service point; it is possible to refill with free water, but my rating is due to the toilet dump being clogged and full of feces. Someone from the town should intervene.
Looks like a dodgy place; the glass container was set on fire. If we had not been there with others, we would have driven on.
Once again, everything is working and everything is free. Thank you to the municipality!!
Fine for an overnight stop. I saw the dump and, judging by its condition, it has not been usable for a long time. The facilities in general are neglected; what a shame. Thumbs down.
No satellite television possible.
Good for an overnight stop while passing through. Unfortunately, the service station for filling and emptying is somewhat run-down.
Attention! There is no possibility of emptying black water. Not a stop for us.
We didn’t park here but used services. Black waste completely blocked but there is a round metal lid you can lift on the opposite side and pour your goods down the sewer. Fresh water and grey waste available. Rubbish piled all over, more bins a little further on.
Pleasant place, not far from the old town. We spent a pleasant, undisturbed night here. Thanks to the city administration for this opportunity.
This is a perfect service area for visiting the very pleasant city. We parked under the trees. The dump station is not new, but it is functional and clean. We will come back. Thank you to the city of Bourg-en-Bresse.
It does the job for emptying the cassette and grey water and filling up for free.
The black-water dump hatch is sealed off, but the manhole cover in front of the service point has a wire handle and can be lifted. The parking area seems very popular with motorhomes, although it is not very attractive.
A useful spot being ruined by some fellow campers. today i witnessed a man dragging his leaking toilet cassette across the full length of the car park to the empty point. he noticed it was leaking shortly into his journey but continued anyways. then he rinsed his cassette using the drinking water tap? disgusting behaviour all round.
The damaged facilities have apparently been repaired and cleaned. Everything is working again, including fresh water. Many thanks to the city.
Unfortunately, after years of providing good free service, vandals had to break everything. In conclusion, there is no more water, and the toilet dump is impossible to use—a tremendous amount of feces is on the hatch. Only the grey-water facility and recycling bins remain.
The place is nice and quiet for sleeping. Today, January 7, the toilet dump is unusable because it is so disgusting!
No water for rinsing the cassette. And very dirty.
Nice place to visit the city. Unfortunately, black-water disposal is not possible. The drain has been blocked.
Hello, right in the center of Bourg-en-Bresse, a hard-standing site. However, there is always vandalism around the service facilities, toilets, or bins. Really disappointing. It isn't the locals; it's the motorhome owners.
Thanks to the municipality for providing the site with a dumping area, but the tap area is partly destroyed. Water can be filled, but there is a lot of leakage. Free parking.
We spent a quiet night here. The water tap was leaking but working, and gray- and black-water disposal was fine. Lidl supermarket is next door.
Good place to spend the night if you are passing through, although the atmosphere is not very welcoming.
Good place to visit the city and spend the night.
We stayed here for one night, quite okay and free!
I stayed here 23/10/2025. Ideal location for seing the town and shops. very quiet and good sleep.
The service station looks terrible. Black-water disposal is screwed shut, and the drinking-water tap is hanging loose but works. It is a shame that many municipalities cannot maintain such facilities. I only wonder who breaks everything. We campers aren't like that, are we?
We spent a quiet night after visiting Brou Monastery, 1.5 km from the parking area, in the rain, but it was absolutely worth the trip. Shops nearby. Small downside: for cassette disposal, remember to lift the cover. Thanks to the municipality. Historic town center.
Very good, quiet, clean and flat, large and shaded. Water and disposal were all fine. Many thanks to the city. A great walk along the river.
Night of September 22, 2025. Quiet night. Close to the city center. Brou Monastery is worth seeing. Thanks to the municipality.
Perfectly located in town and quiet. However, the cassette disposal is blocked. There is water, but given the condition of the service point, I did not use it.
Quiet night, close to the city.
The gray-water drain is no longer blocked. Black water and its tap are okay. The fresh-water tap is somewhat damaged, but water still flows.
We stopped to dump waste; we did not trust the water refill, as it was unclear whether it was potable. For black water, there is a manhole cover to lift. Some people stop to sleep; we only needed to dump black water. We stopped because it was on our route. Positive point: free.
We used this park up as a quick stopover night just to sleep on a long driver. About ten other vans there which was reassuring however in the middle of night there were locals parked up having a party which made us feel uneasy and lasted into the morning. Wouldn’t stay again.
We stopped to eat in the camper van near the motorhome area. There are no toilets or drinking water, but there is water. Two minutes away are municipal swimming pools; adults pay €5.70 and children €3.60. They close around 7 p.m., but they are great for cooling off and having a good shower afterward.
Free and easy to find, but very poorly maintained. The toilet pit is full and blocked, the water tap is broken, and the bins are full.
Free and quiet parking where you can spend the night. There were about a dozen motorhomes. Waste disposal is possible, but refilling is not recommended.
A place where you can spend the night, but not very suitable for resting because some locals are bothersome. It is also not suitable for refilling the water tank; the push-button tap requires holding it for a very long time.
