Am Rhein 1, 56321, Brey
Been here?
This campsite lies directly beside the Rhine, next to a railway line, with some pitches offering riverside views. Recent visitors paid 20 euros per night for a campervan and two people without electricity, and the pitches are small but adequate. Trains pass very close by, while river traffic also creates noise. The toilet block was recently reported clean, but facilities can be limited when the site is crowded.

Nice, quiet place. We were lucky to get a spot directly on the Rhine. The pitches are somewhat small, but sufficient. We paid €20 per night for a panel van with two people, without electricity. The operators were very friendly and accommodating. We would gladly return.
We stayed one night at the end of October. The price and location are fair. However, the reception was not good at all. A man shouted from the window asking what we wanted, then came down. He was also quite drunk at 4 p.m. The bathrooms and toilets were not clean and had not been cleaned for a while. Even in the off-season, this should be done; after all, I pay the same price as in summer. Next time we will drive on.
Ok for one night. Too noisy due to train that passes like 5 mts behind the camping until late night. Toilets and showers were sort of clean but there were not enough facilities for the quantity of people in the camping. And overall camping was way too crowded. There is a bus 5 min walk away that takes you to Coblenz or Boppard.
Good for one night, on the banks of the Rhine. Lots of traffic on the river and railway. €24 for two people, plus a hot shower for €1, which is not very practical. There is nowhere to put your belongings, so you are almost forced to undress outside. Rustic but clean.
We arrived on a Monday and reception and the restaurant were both closed. Fortunately the young woman who manages the site went past. The internet was down so she gave us a couple of pitches to choose from and we had to pay by cash - 20€ and got riverside pitch. No electric. Toilet block clean. Didn't know how to pay for hot water for shower. Pleasant location. All local bars closed.
Nice location. Toilets are clean, but showers could do with an upgrade. Lots of trees, which is an improvement on some of the other sites on this side of the Rhein.
Beautiful parking area with a wonderful view of the Rhine. The operator was terribly annoyed and unfriendly. We were immediately offered a spot by the restaurant, which we declined; spots from number 10 onward are beautiful and quiet! The restaurant/pub is very busy, so it is also very noisy. The sanitary facilities are not well maintained, but everything you need is available.
Very nice hosts. Great view of the Rhine and Marksburg.
Very pleasant site in a prime location with a great view of the Rhine. As previous reviewers said, you can hear the train passing and, of course, the ships. In return, you are right on the riverbank. Friendly operator, good restaurant. One point deducted for the sanitary facilities. The toilet building is quite old and looks neglected, with many spiders in the corners.
Lovely small campsite with very nice pitches along the Rhine. We were warmly welcomed, the sanitary facilities are clean, and the beer is nicely chilled! Hot shower for €1. Small children’s playground nearby, with direct access to the riverside walk. Supermarket less than 10 minutes away by bicycle. €28.50 for one night, two adults and one child, including electricity. We will definitely return :-)
Nice little campsite, and the host is very friendly. We stayed there for one night. The only downside is that the sanitary facilities are a little dated, but they are still fine. The laundry room and toilets are in two separate buildings.
