Been here?
A free parking area at the Town Hall in this charming village, with simple but spacious spots in the centre. All services are free: drinking water, toilets, sinks, and grey/black water disposal. Stay is quiet at night, though the parking fills with day visitors. Bakeries and restaurants are within walking distance, and the major attractions—La Boisserie, the General de Gaulle memorial museum, and the tomb—are easily reached on foot or by bike.

Spent a nice and quiet night at this lovely parking conveniently located in the village.
Simple but large parking area in the village centre. The memorial, Boisserie and cemetery can be visited on foot. Bakery and restaurants nearby. Very good for sightseeing and spending the night. Thanks to the municipality.
So peaceful and restful. A motorhome area right in the village centre. You can visit the sights on foot. However, during the day the parking area quickly fills with visitors.
Very quiet place with free services, except electricity. Ideal for visiting the village on foot or by bicycle. We spent a pleasant night.
We spent a day and a night at this very well-located motorhome area, with all services free of charge: unlimited drinking water, very clean toilets, sink and washbasins, and grey- and black-water disposal. We slept very well in the quiet, close to all the tourist attractions. There are many restaurants all around. The bakery is 400 metres away, turn right when leaving.
Absolutely perfect for the attractions; it only took a few minutes to walk there. All facilities were available on site completely free of charge. Many thanks, thank you, merci to the municipality.
A free place with a toilet in a beautiful village. I can only give it five stars. Thank you very much, dear municipality.
Thanks to the municipality, a quiet and very clean place.
Very beautiful motorhome site, fairly level and quiet. We did not use any services. Many thanks to the municipality for such a great service!
Thanks to the municipality! Spaces on two levels, toilets and sinks for washing dishes or laundry, all easily and freely accessible! Several very good restaurants are a few minutes' walk away.
Beautiful place with free services and a public toilet.
Thanks to this municipality for providing a motorhome area in the village, with basic amenities offered free of charge. This is an exception that deserves to be highlighted.
Quiet and clean place right in the village. Thanks to the municipality for providing free water, toilets and cassette emptying. The Charles de Gaulle Memorial and La Boisserie are worth visiting.
Just spent a nice quiet night here. Room for quite a few vans on 2 levels. Services are at the top next to the toilet. Look for the toilet sign on the door. Close into the small village. Short walk to the cemetery where General Charles de Gaulle and his family are laid to rest. 10 minute walk to the memorial. Everything free but no power. Than you to the village for providing this facility.
Very quiet, very clean, plenty of space and ideally located for the tourist attractions. Clean toilets open all the time, with the possibility of emptying the cassette and washing dishes. Thank you, town hall.
Thanks to the municipality for providing this very quiet area, with services included and close to the sites to visit. Bakery nearby, perfect for a crusty baguette at breakfast. Very easy area to find. Restaurants in the town.
Quiet free motorhome parking behind the town hall. The lower section has a hard surface. The toilet cassette can be emptied at the public toilet. Rinse water is shut off (winter?). Grey water can be emptied into a drain in the road. The public toilet is always accessible. Nice village with a memorial and the Charles de Gaulle museum, plus several restaurants. Bakery within walking distance. Thanks to the municipality for this lovely place!
Great! Thanks to the town hall for providing this area! Very clean toilets! Grey water and toilet emptying facilities. Visit to La Boisserie Memorial Restaurants The General would be proud of his town!
Very quiet, two peaceful nights, services except electricity. Close to the memorial and La Boisserie, which we visited on foot. Thanks to the municipality for welcoming us!
Great place, clean toilet.
Thank you to the municipality, you are great. All conveniences except electricity, but that is not a problem as we are self-sufficient. Very clean and pleasant village to visit. General, you must be proud of them. We will return. Regards, Patrick Marcece from the Somme.
Quiet, pleasant place. It is not exactly clear where motorhomes can park. We followed the example of two long-term parkers. The toilet cassette can be emptied into a shaft in front of the public toilets, and grey water into a drain cover in the middle of the entrance to the lower parking area. Electricity machine and bins at the upper entrance.
Very quiet area in the center of the village, just behind the town hall. Basic services are somewhat old-fashioned but at least they exist. Old-fashioned toilets but clean. The memorial and La Boisserie are accessible on foot. Restaurant, tobacconist/newsagent and bakery on the street. Thanks to the municipality for this welcome.
Quiet place, nice location. Toilet cassette emptying is fine. The only downside is that access to the grey-water drain is inconvenient: just a sloping drain grate right in the middle of the parking entrance. We did not empty it because we risked spilling it everywhere. Too bad, as there is plenty of space for a proper facility.
A great area. We slept well, then in the morning visited La Boisserie and afterwards the memorial, bought a baguette, ate, and left.
Thanks to the town. Everything needed for free camping is available. A quiet night, level parking on two levels. No bells at night.
Indeed, a beautiful large parking area. But last night there was a lot of noise from sunset onwards: a “cannon shot” every five minutes for almost the whole night. Around 7 a.m. the church bells woke us, and at 8 a.m. the school bell started up.
Thanks to the municipality for this free area, which is clearly popular with motorhome travelers. Close to all the sites related to our General.
A very quiet area, services admittedly basic but effective, an excellent bakery—in short, many advantages for the General’s village!
Very nice free motorhome area in the village, with no electrical hookups but the possibility of emptying the toilet. Charles de Gaulle Memorial 700 meters away.
A beautiful and quiet place. Everything you need is available. Of course, after a champagne tasting we also bought quite a lot. A compulsory visit to General de Gaulle’s grave was not to be missed either. Thanks to the municipality for this place.
Very nice area right in the village, no electrical hookups but toilet emptying is possible. Charles de Gaulle Memorial 700 m away.
Easy access, many level spaces. Free services (homemade setup): no hookup, water tap, toilet hatch, grey-water drain. Thanks to the municipality for making this free. We took the opportunity to visit the town and spend money on ice cream, souvenirs, and champagne bought from a producer. You understand everything.
Pretty village and very nice area. Spotless toilet.
Free parking with services, quiet night. Ideal for visiting. Thank you.
Stopped for some lunch. Very pleasant and interesting village. All services work ok. Level parking in the open or under trees
Right in the center of Colombey, on a very flat and green area and close to all the sites concerning the Great Charles: La Boisserie, the memorial, the Cross of Lorraine, and the white tomb in the cemetery. The village is pleasant to visit. The area is very quiet and restful. A wide choice of restaurants, including one Michelin-starred restaurant. I recommend this stop and the General’s Table.
Area right in the center with a toilet and sink for washing dishes. An ATM is also next door.
Free services. Grey water can be emptied above a grate located on the slope; for black water and fresh water, it is next to the toilets. Very spacious and quiet at night. School bell every hour during the day. Close to the cemetery, memorial, and La Boisserie on foot. Thanks to the municipality.
The entre this place might be difficult to see in center of the city. Nice place next to city hall and school, with some noise in school time from kids and school bell/music. Okay shadow in the middle of the day. Close to the memorial of Charles de Gaule. You must like his old cars, a time loop or Charles de Gaule. Entre = 13€.
Thanks to the town hall for providing this parking area. Ideal for a stopover and discovering the memorial.
