A large public car park in Aarau, barrier-controlled entry (pull a ticket), usable overnight. Very quiet and empty at night, fine for a short stopover. Fits a van easily, but wider vehicles may find it tight. Parking is charged from 21:00 to 16:00 the next day, around 16 CHF.

We spent one night there. It was very quiet, and we were alone there at night. Perfectly fine for a short stopover.
Very large parking area. Entrance secured by a barrier; take a ticket. Fine for panel vans, but wider vehicles may have problems.
A place with many cars, but empty and fairly quiet at night. Price from 9 p.m. until 4 p.m. the following day: CHF 16.
