Beach parking, overnight prohibited

This is open and available—a great parking area for the beach and restaurant areas.

This parking area is closed; there are no signs anymore and the grass is tall.

Perfect for spending the day. There was nobody there, but the gate was open. Lots of spaces. Ideal for going to the beach.

Since campers have few opportunities in the Algarve to get this close to a very beautiful rocky beach, this place is perfect. We arrived this morning. The gate was open and we couldn't find anywhere to pay. Everything was free. Now, at 10:00, the parking area is filling up with beachgoers' cars. Very beautiful view of the coves with their rock formations. Stone steps lead down to the beach.

Good location, but this site does not permit overnight stays. We were asked to leave at 8pm and the gate was locked upon our departure. No dogs are allowed on the beach opposite.

We arrived and it was closed, but I recommend sleeping just opposite, where there are some parking spaces where you can stay perfectly well. There are no signs prohibiting it.

We passed by on October 17; the gates were padlocked, so it was impossible to enter.

Because we had planned a boat trip very nearby for the next day, this place was ideal for us. €2 for the day and now €8 for the night. We arrived around 5 p.m. and therefore paid €10. The site is quite littered; only a few vehicles stayed overnight. The man who owns the place is sometimes there and sometimes not; he also closed the gate at night.

We arrived after lunch. There was nobody in the booth, so we went swimming. Before 8 p.m. we asked at the bar on the same beach and they told us they collected the fees. The rates were €2 for cars, €5 for motorhomes and €8 for staying overnight. When I returned to the motorhome to get the money and pay, they had already left. I have my doubts about who owns this meadow and what the rates are.
