We were lucky enough to find this gem of a campsite while touring and have the place to ourselves for 2 nights. It's a tranquil, flat, rural site adjacent to a working farm with well considered and spotlessly clean facilities, catering for motor tourers and traditional campers. We stayed an extra night to visit the street market in Bridport and pretty cove in Seatown; both a short drive away.
Sylvia is wonderful. she showed us all the animals and told us about the farm which has been in her family for generations. Great nights sleep, nice meal at the pub too :-)
Lovely owner who accommodated us when we called at 9:50 p.m. to ask if we could stay. The facilities are good; showers require a token. There is a handy kitchen. Read the notice about the electrical hookup in the cabin before plugging in.Translating
Nice owner. Beautiful little farm. The sanitary facilities are outdated and urgently need renovation. Toilets and showers are clean. The pitch is uneven. At £21 without electricity, it is somewhat expensive. The road to the farm is very narrow. Manageable with a VW California, but difficult with larger vehicles. Completely fine for one night while passing through.Translating
We stayed here for one night. The farmer is incredibly nice and very helpful. Beautiful, fairly level pitches. Small, very basic sanitary cabin, but everything you need is there. Wi-Fi and electricity at the pitches. We paid £21 for one night.Translating
