Quiet place to spend one night. Several of us were there last night, but the area is large enough for everyone to have privacy. The very clean toilets are 100 m away and the small supermarket is just beyond. Very good spot.
Flat and spacious parking in the heart of a small village, ideal for a peaceful night.
Many thanks to the municipality for allowing us to use this parking area, which is extremely rare on the Basque coast! Very quiet night, no problems.
Perfect night. Nice setting but no shade. Small convenience shop that is useful. Thanks to the municipality.
Spacious parking with a small view of the hills depending on the spot. Small convenience shop on the lovely square next door (where you can also spend the night; it has been nicely renovated and is very green). Several clean public toilets nearby, with toilet paper. We also saw an electrical outlet. You can hear the road a little, but nothing serious. Welcoming, charming village.
Happy with our stay. Felt secure. Some road noise, but quitens down in the evening. There is a toilet about 70m away behind the Maire (town hall) which is adjacent to the nearby church.
A flat, clean and quiet place with toilets and bins. THANK YOU to the town hall for welcoming us.
Spacious and peaceful parking.
Perfect for a quiet night, on hard ground during these wet times. Woken by the rooster and bells, which we French people love!!!
The place is great! In the heart of a very charming little village worth visiting. Indeed, the rooster wakes us in the morning, but it is very pleasant!
Parking near the church; we spent a quiet night there with no noise, and there are even bins. Indeed, we were treated to the rooster’s song in the morning, but it is rather amusing. Many thanks to the municipality for providing the parking free of charge.
The parking is very good and quiet, but it should indicate that on the third weekend of every month motorhomes cannot park from Saturday at 5 p.m. until Sunday at 8:30 p.m. because of the flea market.
Slept very well for two nights here without any problem. I had found another place, but a height barrier had been installed, so I came here. There were two other motorhomes. Be careful not to park too close to the bins because trucks come to empty the containers.
Practical and level, suitable for large vehicles, but the road noise from 6:00 to 8:30 in the morning bothered us.
Thank you to the municipality. I think this parking area could be paid, which would bring in some revenue for the town and make the surrounding residents more tolerant.
Great place!! We stayed several nights to visit the area. It is very quiet and there is only one house overlooking the parking area. There is a rooster and you can hear the road a little, but nothing too bothersome. I recommend staying on the road side rather than the hedge side to avoid the smell of urine and mosquitoes. The church bells do not ring at night.
I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s really necessary. It’s a bit noisy from the road. In the early morning you can be woken up by roosters, cars moving, and—in our case—a neighbor in his RV talking loudly on the phone with the door wide open around 8:30. Also, there was some toilet paper on the ground, a bit dirty… hopefully not left by camper owners going out to pee at night.
We spent a quiet and safe night while passing through. Several motorhomes were here. There are no toilets here, or we simply did not find them in the dark.
A good option for sleeping overnight. There is noticeable traffic, but it is still quiet. There is a shop in the village where you can buy food.
Excellent. Quiet and dark.
Quiet place in a village surrounded by greenery, ideal for spending the night. Level parking. A destination for many campers.
Peaceful and level place, right next to the motorway. Only the roosters and church bells in the morning; otherwise very good for an overnight stop.
Level and quiet parking at night, with some activity early in the morning, but it is not disturbing. We slept alongside five other people.
Good place to spend the night, very quiet and with enough space. There were other motorhomes and some cars, which made us feel safe.
During the day the road behind the parking area is really busy. At night we had no problems with noise. The place filled up late in the evening, so do not arrive too late if you have a large vehicle. We found one toilet that was locked and another that was half demolished. Everything still worked, even though some walls were missing. More shade on the right.
Paved, level parking area. The little church is very nice. You can hear the road in the morning and evening. We were there with 10 other motorhomes and campervans.
Very good and practical, lovely little village with a magnificent church. A very useful grocery shop with a very welcoming owner. Thank you to the municipality for allowing access. Thank you to the motorhome users for not taking advantage.
Parking below the church. I confirm: bells and rooster at dawn! But that is the joy of the countryside! One tavern and one restaurant. No facilities, but quiet.
Thanks to the municipality for providing this lovely little stop over. Only two minutes walk to a shop which has everything you are likely to need. Very friendly locals. Wonderful church to look around. Very quiet until the local Cockerel gives you your early morning call!
Thank you for welcoming us outside the major cities, but it is noisy in the morning.
Great spot close to the towns worth visiting nearby. Very quiet at night, with the streetlights switching off from midnight to 6 a.m. Almost empty at night, with traffic and more parking during the day. Bins and a water point available, with a cemetery right next door. Minor drawback: stray dogs appear regularly. But we highly recommend it.
Great quiet spot in Ahetze. Recycling bins accessible but no general waste bin. Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us.
Spent one night off-season in April; quiet but already many motorhomes and trucks. And right in the middle of the village. Water tap at the nearby cemetery.
Very good for one night: quiet, level, a little traffic in the early evening, and the rooster sings in the morning. No facilities, bins available, lovely little village.
Great for spending the night here; unfortunately, I was just too stupid to find the toilet. But very quiet.
Very nice spot! We had 2 calm nights. The rooster doesn't start before 8.30 am. Cute dogs around. Sunday morning got really busy because of church, but we left for the day anyways. There's a market on the 3rd Sunday of every month down in the village. Drinking water point near the playground. Thanks to the village!
Very quiet place to spend the night. Clean. Level parking accessible to vehicles over 6 metres. Thank you to this small municipality for welcoming us.
Very pleasant to spend a night here. Quiet and clean. Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us.
Spent a quiet night. The chickens woke us in the morning. Toilet nearby at the square.
