Free motorhome parking, weekday noise

Nice place for at least 6–8 motorhomes if everyone parks sensibly. Because of the neighbouring schools, there is considerable noise on weekday mornings. Supermarkets and the beautiful town centre are easily reached on foot. You can take long walks with your dog through the fields, in the climate park or along the Miele, or start excellent cycling tours. Thanks to the municipality. Very nice!

I spent a very quiet night here over Pentecost. Of course you can hear individual cars on the nearby road, but it was not disturbing at all. Many thanks to the municipality for this excellent facility.

Thanks to the municipality for this free place! Suitable for a relatively quiet night, but from around 5:30 a.m. there was increased traffic noise, and from 7:15 it became very busy because of parents dropping off their children, who also liked to use the parking area for unloading. Unfortunately, the ground was very waterlogged and muddy.

Very well located for visiting the city and for a break. Not tested overnight. Thanks to the municipality.

Also suitable for eight motorhomes up to 8 m. Gravel grass; with heavy rain, there are puddles. Sufficiently quiet at night. Thanks to the municipality!

Thanks to the municipality for the spot... We were 3 motorhomes... The road can be heard... Noise from local teenagers continued late into the night.

The municipality has renovated the site and it is now a great camper spot for an overnight stay without facilities, because a real camper has everything with them.

A nice, small and quiet spot. The old town is only a 10-minute walk away. Good for dog owners, as there is a small forest nearby. Bins and a book telephone box on site. The ground was worked on again today, but it is no longer a construction site!

Quiet at night, level, easy access, spacious and clean. Close to the center, reachable on foot in a few minutes. No services, but a bin. Thanks to the city for this free motorhome parking area.

10/08/2024 It is small, but close to the center, which is worth a peaceful visit. There was a small excavator, but since it was Saturday we had no problems. No facilities.

As described in previous comments: construction site, very muddy... some grassy area in front of a small hut with a bench, where we stayed instead. The construction site was inactive during our visit on weekdays from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Big plus: two clean, usable portable toilets (for the construction site?!)—perfectly fine for one night since it is free.

There are definitely nicer spots in the area that do not cost much either! Still, the highlight was the bookcase in a telephone box! I spent a quiet night next to an idle excavator! It was fine for one night!
