Quiet riverside, muddy after rain

Very quiet place. The road to it is a forest road type.

Large grassy area, quiet and wild. An antenna on site provides a strong 4G connection. Beware in rainy weather: the field becomes muddy and is unsuitable unless you have a 4x4.

Very wet, grass and road has been churned up by forestry vehicles. No access or view of lake. Didn't stay here, the spot near the centre of the lake is better.

Country parking area beside the Cibin River, at the western tip of the Gura Râului Reservoir, 3 km from the village of Gura Râului. The 3 km unpaved road presents no difficulties. The area is accessible to vehicles of all sizes, although the last 10 meters are challenging! No services; satellite and 4G are unreliable. Quiet, pleasant place, partly shaded.

Very quiet at night; some traffic during the day, but it is not disturbing. Garbage bins on site, good for short walks and longer hikes.

Avoid during the day on weekends, as many people have picnics here. But the night was very quiet, with several flat spaces and easy access for all types of vehicles.
