We stayed here for one night. We found it because all the others were full, but it was a stroke of luck. It was just us in a van and four cycling tourists in tents. The owners were kind and welcoming, and they have horses. Surrounded by greenery. Peace and relaxation. A little far from Büsum, about 15 km. We paid €30 plus €3.80 for electricity. Clean, good facilities. Highly recommended for cyclists.
The second-best lawn of all European campsites—the very top spot must remain free. Sanitary facilities limited but orderly. The site supervisor rather forcefully demanded that we leave the empty pitch at 10:30. Not very friendly, a penny-pincher.
Idyllic, small and highly recommended campsite with large pitches, friendly operators, and views of horses and sheep. Swimming area about 1 km away. Cycling trips to Büsum or St. Peter-Ording are recommended. We felt very comfortable on this nature-oriented site.
A wonderful little site with huge pitches and a fantastic view of a white-tailed eagle's nest. Very friendly operators and wonderful peace and quiet. We would be happy to come again.
Wonderful, very quiet site with plenty of room to relax and very nice hosts. Lovingly laid out, and there was nothing missing for us. We would be very happy to return ☺️
Really beautiful site with large pitches and two exceptionally tidy bathrooms. Everything is very well maintained and lovingly designed, and the operators are extraordinarily nice people. We felt very comfortable! There is no longer a children's playground, but there is a beach about a 10-minute walk away.
Very friendly operators. You can cook and wash dishes there easily. There is one toilet and one shower, and they are very clean. Unfortunately, both are in the same room. In my case, I had to wait an hour in the morning because someone was showering and then getting completely dressed up. Unfortunately, afterward there was water all over the room.
Excellent camping and motorhome site right next to the horse pasture, not far from the dyke and a swimming area. Very spacious pitches—elsewhere, three campers would fit in one. Heavenly quiet, with extremely friendly operators. In the evening you can make a fire and sit comfortably in a beach chair. Top-notch sanitary facilities and wonderful showers. Twenty-five minutes by bicycle from Büsum. No tourist tax!
Beautiful campsite between two dykes, with an unobstructed view of the neighboring fields. The North Sea Wadden Sea can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Horses on the farm, sheep on the dyke meadows and an occasional cuckoo best describe the atmosphere. Ideal for anyone who dislikes crowds and prefers small family-run businesses. No more bread service. No Wi-Fi.
A very quiet, idyllic campsite that is especially suitable for children, with a nice playground, a horse pasture and the dyke nearby. Further positives: - XL pitches - Friendly operator family - Toilet and kitchen are fine One star deducted: - Slightly too expensive for what is offered: two adults and two children, car and caravan = €53 Tip: - There are other private pitch providers on the street—compare prices!
A lovely, peaceful spot right behind the Wadden Sea, among horses and sheep. Very quiet. Such lovely people—we felt extremely comfortable here.
Beautiful, peaceful little site with lots of space on a meadow—a barefoot paradise. Views of sheep grazing on the dike. Super-friendly owners; a quick phone call is enough, or just drop by. Two spacious bathrooms with wonderfully hot rain showers. Lovingly furnished outdoor kitchen with herb pots.
Small campsite with six pitches in Hedwigenkoog. Hedwigenkoog’s beach, which is free of visitor tax, is a five-minute walk away and is ideal for swimming. Each pitch has an area of 250 square metres—absolutely recommended!
If you’re looking for a small, family-run campsite, this is the right place. Far from the hustle and bustle and main roads, yet only about 300 metres from the North Sea. We definitely won’t be visiting for the last time.
