Excellent campsite with a very friendly owner. It is located next to the railway; the whistle can be heard until 11 p.m. Otherwise it is quiet and reasonably priced. Many thanks, Peter.
Lovely place with an extremely friendly owner. We were the only guests this time. We enjoyed the singing birds and incredibly delicious cherries. It takes some searching to get there, but turn left immediately after SBB, before the railway and the house beside the tracks, then drive a short distance and you’ll arrive. We really enjoyed it. Thanks, Peter!
A large meadow among fruit trees. Anyone looking for peace and quiet should come here! Peter is a wonderfully friendly host and runs the orchard. He even gave me fresh strawberries—very tasty. If you want some daytime activity, Buxtehude is about 10 minutes away. Thank you for letting me stay here! Greetings from Münsterland, Eileen.
Fantastic place! Delicious fruit and, above all, peace and quiet. Much better than the site in town! The bus stop is just around the corner for reaching the railway station. With a group ticket, for example, you can get to Hamburg cheaply. The train didn’t bother us.
Follow the signs for the orchard, turn before the railway tracks. The number to contact regarding staying is on the door of the house. €12 to camp and €2 each if you want to use the toilet shower. Trains do pass but stopped about 11:30pm. Overall really liked this spot, we were the only campers and parked next to the plum trees.
A host could not be nicer. Super kind and helpful, and he gave us great tips for getting to Hamburg. We stayed on the meadow among the orchard. Small guest bathroom nearby. A train passes and sounds its horn at regular intervals, but not between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The fruit stand is highly recommended!
Wonderful, peaceful motorhome site in the middle of an orchard. We were alone, surrounded by nature. Very friendly host, Peter, and fruit sold directly at the roadside. Toilet and shower available. Great tip: park for free nearby and take the ferry to Hamburg. We would gladly return.
Beautiful motorhome site in the countryside among fruit trees, with an incredibly warm host. A visit to the farm shop is also worthwhile. We’ll happily return.
Great place for one or several nights, if you don’t mind the train sounding its horn! We could stay parked with our bus and caravan still hitched, and bought fresh fruit from the fruit stand in the morning. Nice owner. Gladly again!
We stayed at the edge of an orchard. There is a fairly level meadow. Peter gave us a warm welcome and some tips. A train runs twice an hour on the adjacent railway line, but it is not really disturbing. The toilet and shower are small but nice. Unfortunately, we were only passing through—we will definitely return!
We only intended to spend one night at the orchard, but liked it so much that we extended our stay. Finding the entrance is easy if you can read: the mobile number is on the door and the welcome could not be warmer. Absolutely recommended. We were alone on the meadow with our camper van and everything was perfect. Greetings from Uli, Monika, and Leni.
Those who like cosy urban sites should go into the city; those who love nature should camp with Peter on the green meadow! Water, shower, and toilet available. The train is not disturbing. Access is complicated: follow the signs for the social station, take the first left before the railway tracks, and drive to the end of the road. We spent two wonderful days here—thank you.
