Camping De ZeeKoning

We spent three nights at Camping de ZeeKoning. It is a relatively small, family-run campsite. The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. The pitches are large, estimated at over 100 m². The owner is very friendly and helpful. She recommended and described a lovely bike ride for us. We will certainly come again.

Exceptionally well-maintained site, although somewhat sterile. The sanitary facilities are always spotless. Unfortunately, there is no kiosk, bar or bread-roll service. The Wi-Fi was too weak and reception was only occasionally staffed. For an off-season price of over €45 per night, you would expect a little more.

We had a lovely night. The campsite was quiet and the motorhome pitch was level. I booked at the last minute through the website (€41.64 for a motorhome pitch for one person and one dog). I had electricity and water. The sanitary facilities were neat and clean. A beautiful beach is within walking distance.

Small campsite, but huge congratulations to the owners. Everything was clean, and the sanitary facilities were very clean, cleaned several times a day. Fifteen minutes’ walk to the sea. Recommended.

A really beautiful, small campsite with very large pitches and very clean sanitary facilities. Showers use a rechargeable card—absolutely perfect and more than sufficient if you turn off the water while washing your hair and soaping up! We will definitely come again.

Wonderful site with a lovely playground and lots of privacy on the pitches. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. We managed perfectly with the shower card. We would happily come again and are sad that we already have to leave.

Quiet in the off-season, with electricity and water at every pitch. Very clean sanitary facilities. Showers cost extra: 40 cents per minute with a shower card, but the water is very hot. The beach, bakeries, restaurants and shops are all quickly reachable on foot. Washing and drying cost €4 each. We felt very comfortable here.

Arrived on September 1. Initially there was no response by phone or email. Then I tried to reserve online, but only bank transfer was possible. Eventually they called back. Paid cash on arrival; card payment was also possible. Minimum stay: two days! Otherwise, mostly chalets, but still enough caravan and motorhome pitches. Toilets: first class. The beach is reached through the dunes, including a nudist section. The cost is so-so: electricity and various rubbish bags included. But it is beautiful!

Very friendly and helpful family based staff. We actually extended our stay there by a few days because of it. close to the beach and the nearby train is an added bonus. Most definitely a camp to return!

The owner is very friendly and speaks French very well. The pitches are large, providing some privacy. However, €33 for one night for one person in a van, plus €1.50 for a five-minute shower, is very expensive.

Very well-maintained site; we felt like we were the only guests. Booking, registration and communication were handled online and worked without problems. Showers use a card. The paved pitches numbered 50 to 60 are not separated by a hedge, but that is not really a problem.

Small site with large pitches protected by bushes. Very clean showers. We stayed for one week. A great base for bike tours, or for the tram, which is 500 m away. Highly recommended.

Small, pleasant campsite by the sea on the border of Bredene and De Haan
