Been here?
A wild spot on a dead-end road beside the canal, with peaceful overnight stays by the water. There are no services or rubbish bins, but a walking path starts nearby and the views are attractive. The area is generally quiet, although cars may drift here at night, so parking at the side or on the grass is advisable.

This spot is great! Quiet by the water. We have slept peacefully here more than 30 times; we live in our van and regularly stay here. Be aware that at night people do some drifting with their cars, so it is best to park at the side or on the grassy area. After five minutes of drifting, they leave!
Amazing peaceful spot by the water a little bit of farm traffic noise across the water in the morning but apparent from the very peaceful and quiet flat
Quiet place where the towpath or canal-side path begins. You can hear the ducks in the morning. No facilities or rubbish bins, but a beautiful view.
A1 stop over felt safe local folks was friendly lovely walk by the river in morning we have here a number of times traveling round Belgium in our maggiolina roof tent no traffic
Access impossible; construction area.
No longer available. It is a construction site.
Relatively quiet spot, with only walkers, barges, birds, and so on. Park at the far end on the right of the dead end. It is paved and quiet. Excellent phone signal, useful if you work.
Good spot, although very muddy when it rains.
Beautiful and quiet. Only the occasional passing boat. No services.
Good place for one night! At present, manure has been piled up and is being removed by trucks and an excavator. Otherwise, a good place to stay before the ferry crossing to the UK.
Came for one night and stayed for two. So peaceful and relaxing. A group of lads on motorbikes did turn up, but they stayed only about half an hour on the first night. Otherwise, a perfect place to decompress.
I love it here. Soooooo peaceful. I heard a cuckoo, saw a pony and trap, watched a big barge go past. All I can hear are birds and wind in the bushes. No road traffic at all. Use coordinates rather than the address. (My satnav took me into Nevele town centre. This is 15 minutes away.) Also, the towpath has electric fencing on both sides. Be warned if you have dog/s or small children.
Nice pick nick spot! Plenty of space, next to the water
