Unnamed Road, 2443, Engerdal
Been here?
Several small stopping places lie along a gravel toll road, offering fantastic views, quiet surroundings and walking opportunities. The road is a dead end and costs 80 Kr, with payment made for access. The route is inaccessible in winter because it becomes a cross-country ski track. Some places have seating, but conditions can be very windy.

Great view. Very windy when we were there. Good seating.
Not accessible in winter, as it becomes a cross-country ski trail.
Experienced a breathtaking sunset (see photo) AND an equally amazing sunrise! Thanks to the Park4Night community for this absolute hidden gem. We were completely alone up there the day before yesterday! We put the toll money in the mailbox. From 6 p.m. to 10 a.m., only three cars passed by. May I give it six out of five stars?
A great campsite with a view over the valley and opportunities for hiking. There are occasional parking bays and another campsite with a picnic table in front of this one. We enjoyed the peace and nature. We paid the toll in cash and wrote the registration number on the receipt. The money is used to maintain the road. We are happy to pay for places like this.
Costs 80 Kr now 30.05.2024 Keep in mind that the road is a dead end. Long and wonders to drive with hiking options but ultimately a dead end.
Wonderful place. The view is breathtaking. The gravel road is worth it to be able to stay here. The site offers short walks to nearby peaks with panoramic views. Bring 60 kr in cash to pay the toll.
The site is unique! Absolute peace at night! However, the approach is suitable only for panel vans or small motorhomes: 10 kilometres of gravel road! Please do not forget to pay the toll at the entrance.
