Riverside parking, evening disturbances

A beautiful spot on the Memel. There was a lot of activity from locals, and a few younger people made it very clear late in the evening that we were not welcome here. They parked very close to our motorhome, with a screwdriver in hand. We packed up and moved on.

Great place for swimming, with lots of sand for the children.

Very busy with locals in the afternoon and evening, all friendly, and quiet from 10 p.m. The portable toilet was in acceptable condition. We had a pleasant stay.

Perfectly okay for one night, but here too you should go to bed later. The village youngsters need some time to calm down. It is a shame that there is no longer any respect between people.

A very peaceful place to spend the night, apart from the loud concert of crickets. Besides our motorhome, there was only one group of campers with a car.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Anglers come by, and there is endless birdsong!

Just arrived. A lovely spot by the river, with a rubbish bin, and otherwise very tidy. Certainly good for one night. Friendly residents speak German, and it is otherwise pleasantly quiet. Neighbours from Estonia also stayed overnight. You can swim here, but the current is strong. Top spot.

Cars belonging to walkers, cyclists and others, but they are not a nuisance. Many cars with tinted windows kept driving back and forth, including one that warmed up its tires and left rubber one metre from our motorhome. Although we were already settled for the night, we left!

A very pleasant place to spend the night.

Relaxed spot directly by the river, opposite a bird colony. Cars come by from time to time. People smoke, briefly go to the water, take the dog for a short walk and leave again. Nobody came after sunset.
