Westbahnhofstrasse, 63450, Hanau
Been here?
A shaded urban parking area about 1 km from Hanau centre, close to the Main and a railway station. Parking costs 2€ for 24 hours and is free on Sundays, with space for very large motorhomes. The night is generally quiet, but trains, cars and aircraft become noticeable from around 7:00; nearby playground equipment is poorly maintained.

Shaded parking, close to the town center. Paid: €2 for 24 hours. It is a little dirty. A slide, swing, and table tennis table are very close. The playground equipment is also not well maintained. We parked here to visit the town center, but in hindsight I should have gone to visit the castle.
Very shady parking, important during a heatwave, one kilometer from the town center, quiet, and €2 for 24 hours, free on Sundays. Accessible to very large motorhomes.
Very central parking, close to the Ecolaundry.
Parking close to the center, a 10-minute walk. We had no problems parking the motorhome. It costs €2 for 24 hours. The train station is right next to it. From 7 a.m. onward, you start hearing cars arriving to park and catch the train. The night is quiet and sleeping is comfortable. The area felt safe enough for us to sleep.
Ordinary parking space that barely fits a passenger car, not suitable for larger motorhomes. We were lucky with our 7-meter vehicle, though it was tightly against the glass containers right by the roadside.
Simple parking area, no services. Near the center, although in the evening everything in the center is closed and deserted. Quiet at night, but at 5:40 a.m. planes begin passing constantly, and at 7 a.m. freight trains pass.
The planes and trains made some noise, but I put in earplugs and that solved it, rather than moving the van.
Good parking close to the center, but if you sleep here there is a lot of tram and aircraft traffic noise.
Convenient parking for reaching the center. €2 to park.
Parking very close to the station, convenient for visiting Hanau and then reaching Frankfurt by train. Despite being close to the station, it is a very quiet and safe area; we even ate outside without problems. The only drawback is the lack of a dump point, but I recommend it, especially for the modest price of €2 per 24 hours.
