Full of motorhomes and van-lifers... if you want neighbors in the middle of nowhere, this is the right place. In the off-season, when it is cold and raining and the tourists are warm in their homes, it is a little haven of peace.✦Translating

We spent one night there in our motorhome, and it was calm as promised! Enough space for everyone! Many thanks to the manager. Be sure to visit the snack bar; the staff are very pleasant and the food is good!✦Translating

Many thanks for allowing us to spend the night in the tree-lined parking area. All the vans present were very respectful of the silence at nightfall, and the night was very quiet. We left at 9 a.m. so as not to cause inconvenience and to leave the parking area for visitors.✦Translating

Beautiful place, can’t believe it’s free. We’ve stayed at campsites in worse condition. Few bins at the entrance & a tonne of parking space. Lots of other campers the night we stayed. Some spaces definitely sloping so levellers would be required

Quite a calm place. One night tolerated!! Once again, many people are taking advantage of this private place. The least people could do would be to support those who keep this place running by spending money at the snack bar or visiting the castle!! We spent two nights there; it is a large, very family-friendly parking area. The night is quiet! I recommend visiting the Donjon des Aigles and attending the show—it is excellent!!! There is also a snack bar selling drinks and food, open from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in summer (takeaway available for the evening), with access to toilets if you make a purchase.✦Translating

Convenient for a stopover. It is also an opportunity to enjoy a bird-of-prey show! The owners accept our presence but ask us to respect the motorhome spaces, most of which require leveling. Attention for heavier vehicles: the access road climbs!✦Translating

A very good night at the foot of the castle. Large grassy parking area. We were lulled by the sound of the sheep. We visited the very well-maintained castle in the morning; a haven of peace for falcons, vultures, eagles, and all kinds of birds of prey.

Great spot. After 7 p.m., it is pure bliss. And take the castle tour with the show—it is well worth it. I will come back.

Great: shade, green space, and a small snack bar for convenience. Go dip your feet in the little river to cool off.
