Noisy early in the morning because these are still busy roads, with buses passing through the street in particular. In addition, someone came and knocked on our motorhome at 7 a.m. to wake us up. There was no one outside, so we understood that it was a message saying we were not welcome.
Great free parking spaces, shady and only a few minutes from the city by bicycle or e-scooter.
Difficult for anything over 6 m; after 5 p.m., almost impossible. I drove around the neighborhood several times and found an unpaid spot. A quiet night, and I was lucky to have the train 300 m away to get to the center. Other streets have parking meters.
Perfect for visiting the city. We didn’t park exactly there but higher up because it was full.
Quiet night, but noise early in the morning!
I am often in Freiburg for several weeks at a time. Each time I leave my car here and have never had any problems! Be aware that there are few free spaces on weekday mornings.
Great residential area for exploring Freiburg. We had a good night here! In some places you have to pay from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Great spot to park for the night. Next to the botanical garden and within walking distance to city center. Quiet night of sleep. Woke up and only paid a couple euros to park during paid parking hours and explored the city center. Worked out perfectly for our stay in Freiburg
Excellent parking, two very quiet nights. About 6–7 minutes by bike to the center. Finding free parking in Freiburg is quite a challenge.
Quiet street by the botanical garden. About 30 minutes on foot to the old town, which is definitely worth visiting. We were in Freiburg for the second time, but this time not at the campsite as we were on our first visit. Since we need no more than a parking space, this is absolutely excellent.
Lovely location directly by the botanical garden, which is well worth seeing and has free admission. The center can be reached on foot in just under half an hour. An S-Bahn stop is nearby. Reasonably quiet at night.
It is a super-quiet street where we slept very safely. There are no facilities, but cafés are nearby.
Very quiet street next to the botanical garden. A 15-minute walk from the center. Whenever we visit the city, we spend the night on this street.
Really quiet night for a Saturday! A café next door with very good products. 25–30 minutes’ walk to the very center.
