Everything is great. Cozy and tidy.
When we arrived, the owner came straight over to us. He immediately told us there was a festival on the grounds and that staying here was not advisable because of the noise. A shame, as it was a beautiful campsite with a friendly owner.
Very beautiful, idyllic place! But we were charged €35.00 for one night (no sanitary building!). On top of that, we had to endure loud techno music during the night, which continued in the morning! We wanted to stay for two days but left early. No refund!
We stayed from Friday to Saturday and I felt like I was at a festival site. Drunk people, loud music all night and into the morning, dirty and overflowing portable toilets, and an outdoor shower. All this cost €25 for a rooftop tent and two people. The rest of the site is quite nice.
Fantastic, beautiful campsite! The owner has built the campsite around the solar system, with a campfire in the middle representing the sun, and birch trees interspersed with spruce representing each planet! The places where you park your car each have their own outdoor shower with lighting! I highly recommend this campsite! Friendly and accommodating host.
A beautiful place nestled among trees, meadows and a lake, perfect for relaxing in peace. The operator goes to great lengths to make his guests’ stay as pleasant as possible.
Stayed 10/05/2025 Beautiful location, quiet, plenty of activities. Host very welcoming even with the language challenges. Highly recommend.
A wonderfully peaceful place in nature. We had almost the entire campsite to ourselves. A very friendly owner who is happy to tell you about this special place. The only sounds we heard were those of nature; eagles fly over this area. A lovely little lake for swimming. Truly a place to unwind.
We stayed one night a week after the previous reviewer and nothing had happend with the toi-tois. They were still full. So, dear owner, I wish some respect to your customers and keep facilities in good condition. The place itself was nice and has good vibe.
A beautiful site, although the portable toilets left a lot to be desired. They were dirty and already essentially full. We also found €35 for one night too expensive.
Beautiful place. Peace and quiet. The campsite is divided by trees into separate planetary sections. In the middle is a place for a bonfire—the Sun. We stayed in the Jupiter section, for large vehicles. The trees separating the sections are different species and have their own meanings.
From August 8 to 13, the annual PREMA music and tantra festival took place at Saulės rato campsite in Misgiriai. Around 500 people promoting sobriety, a healthy lifestyle and mindfulness lived here throughout the week. Among the more than 20 lecturers were guests from India, Bali, the USA, Great Britain, Portugal, Norway, neighboring Latvia and Estonia, and other European countries.
Very beautiful and spacious site, with a small lake for swimming, pedal boating or stand-up paddleboarding. There are small Hobbit huts available to rent for overnight stays, as well as fire pits, a volleyball court and more. The owner is very friendly and provided us with maps and brochures. We were the only guests during the week; apparently it is busier at weekends.
