A large car park at the 1607m Col de Turini in the Mercantour, suitable for a quiet overnight stay. There are no services, and the area is calm except when hotel guests start their motorcycles. Three restaurants and a souvenir shop are nearby, with the restaurants open in summer.

Had a wonderful welcome at the Three Valleys Hotel, having parked next door. Had a drink and then ordered a meal. Both my wife and I were very pleased with the meals we had. Spent a quiet night in the car park until the bikers staying in the hotel began starting up their bikes. Overall, à good place to stay.
Spacious parking at this time of year! The hotel-restaurant is for sale, so there is no risk of an unfriendly welcome! Perfectly quiet, with no services.
It did not appeal to us. We left and went farther on.
Public parking with no prohibition, quiet and perfect for one night before starting hikes from Col de Turini. I confirm that the restaurant owners are not friendly and do not like motorhomes parking there, but the parking area does not belong to them. Be aware that the two roads up to the pass are legendary routes of the Tour de France and Monte Carlo Rally, with bends all the way.
Not bad for one night, but nothing special.
Very good, quiet spot with hiking trails, green spaces, and a picnic table. The road has very little traffic. However, the welcome at the restaurant opposite, run by a sour and completely unbusinesslike older couple, was very poor.
